Eat your heart out!
This 11kg (24.5lbs approx) trout...
lasted a couple of meals
A nice catch from the local beach.
3.5kg Flathead
(about 7.5lb)
Coronation Trout... 5Kg (about 10.5lb)
A MONSTER Trevally.
All these fish were caught by Jason
in the local waters off Hervey Bay.
.
He lived at home then, we used to rush dinner
to see who got on the computer
first
since it was our first experience with the Internet
and we only had the
one machine... MINE!!
There were 6 of us at home at that time.
Mum, Dad, my husband, myself, Jason
and grandson Jared.
My husband had dementia and Jason couldn't handle
the pressure and stress
that
I was going through with the
Protective Commissioner's Office (N.S.W.)
plus my Dad was getting more unwell,
so he left
to live with his current girlfriend at the time.
January 2002....
and things have changed a little.
He still loves his fishing but has
several jobs now including Game Fishing.
He especially likes when American's charter the boat
because....
they are BIG tippers. *S*
Then again, even
though he's useless at home
( yes, he's moved back home
after 3 years! That's another story! )
he's obviously
good at what he does otherwise he'd get no tips.
I have a few "tips" I'd like to give him
but not the monetary kind *S*
He's now got himself au fait with computers
has one of his own that has
everything that opens and closes,
plus a lap top. Has learned so much that
he's designing
web pages for $$$$,
is on call when things go wrong
with
clients computers, does digital videos,
plus
a whole heap of other computer
related stuff.
This 'kid' (32) knew NOTHING about computers
when I got the new one in 1999.
Also, now there are only 4 of us at home,
my father and my husband have passed on.

This is a little bit of info, other than work interests, about Jason.
.
Personal Interests
Fishing ....Fishing .....Fishing ....Fishing .....Fishing
Then.....there's..
Computer....Computer.....Computer....Computer.....Computer
Which doesn't exactly leave much time for...
mowing...
feeding the dogs...
washing the car...
taking out the garbage....
doing homework with his son
picking up after himself
you know... the mundane things need I go on :-)
"Do you know what you call those who use towels and never wash them,
eat meals and never do the dishes, sit in rooms they never clean,
and are entertained till they drop?
If you have just answered, "A house guest,'' you're wrong....
because I have just described my kids. "

and then there's.......
Actually, Jason has had a lot of interests in his 36 years of life.
Travel.
He's been to Britain quite a few times,
been to the United States many times,
and he's also been to
France,
Brazil,
Chile,
Tahiti
and Easter Island.
Then, he's also been (in Oz) to
North Queensland,
New South Wales,
Victoria
and South Australia.
We musn't forget his last o/seas trip to Holland... that was a disaster
and a waste of money.
Sports
Surfing (not the WWW),
Water Skiing,
Parasailing,
Windsurfing
(won a trophy in a marathon from Hervey Bay to Fraser Island and back
and he also taught windsurfing).
Swimming,
Jet Skiing,
Sailing,
Snow Skiing,
Fishing - regular and fly
(who would have guessed *S*)
won a trophy in Scotland for fly fishing
and this was his first experience,
Golf,
Horse Riding,
Rugby League,
Shooting,
Skateboarding,
Rollerblading,
BMXing,
Motor Bike racing.
.and then there's....
Women
LORD... can he pick them!!!!
NOT!
A failed marriage,
screwy girlfriends.
and the last two were definitely
SCHIZOPHRENIC.
I don't know why,
but he seems to attract strange women.
I guess because he's really soft
and still naive in that department.
In other words he's a sucker for a sad story.
How I wish he'd find someone nice
so he could settle down
and have a normal life
and a normal family.
(Whatever that is these days)
Of course this would also get him out of MY hair <GRIN>
That's about it for now
