WHAT ABOUT MY RIGHTS??

Land Beyond The Sea
.
There is a land beyond the sea
Where in my dreams I long to be.
A place where riches count for naught,
Where happiness cannot be bought.
Where no one kills and no one steals
And no one gains from shady deals.
A place where blacks and whites agree
And live in perfect harmony.
Where everyone has seen the light
And no one wants to go and fight.
The journey will be long and slow,
It won't be easy, this I know.
To get there means a lot to me,
There is a land beyond the sea !

This poem was sent to us by a very dear friend in England.
I included it here because it truly conveys the way I feel,
my wish for peace and harmony for everyone.
We each have but one life to live and we should live each day as if it were our last.
One day it will be.

This is a country I once loved.
I never regretted ever being brought up here.
Life was good.
UNTIL
My husband contracted an irreversible illness.
AND
Through no fault of his, our lives, as we once enjoyed them, ENDED.
No amount of preparation for our future security prepared me for the vindctive onslaught of harassment,
undue pressure, stress and victimisation which has not only affected me,
BUT
my entire family.

We are not the only ones to suffer at the hands of these 'lowlife'
