Saturday
31st August 2002.
Where
to start...... We're supposed to be
going to the theatre today, tickets paid
for, but it's not going to happen. I've
just had 2 of the worst days in my life,
health wise. Both days I spent in bed
feeling as if someone had a blow-torch
and was trying to burn my thighs off!
Then to make matters worse, if that's
possible, I have a cold. Of course,
because I've been in bed .... my ankles
are normal again... wonder how long
that'll last.
This is what they
look like most of the time
However... I've made
one last ditch effort to do something
about them before I resort to powerful
painkillers. I may have mentioned before,
a gentleman who works on the body's
chemical balance or imbalance. I started
his method this morning.. so we shall
just have to wait and see....
He said.. what I
have is NOT arthritis.. looks like
ligament or nerve damage.
Enough of the
morbidity!!!
We recently had Senior's Week here
May as well be dead according to this!!
Or go fly a Kite.. LOL!!!!
In the same paper
was this photo.. which I thought
hilarious!
Apparently some
gentleman with a sense of humour,
here in Hervey Bay, has this headstone in
his garden.
OK... Mum celebrated
her birthday this month..
We couldn't put a candle for every year
on the cake
otherwise we'd have the fire brigade on
the door step!!
NO I'm not telling! *S*
Oh yes... we had "Family Photo's" taken
professionally last week.
What a 'to-do' THAT was. I think Mum must
have changed 40 times (well, it seemed
like that many!) She drove me nuts...
".....will I wear this? What about
that.... Don't you think this would be
better??? (AAArgh!!)
They were to be
taken at the school and Jason and Jared
left before us so naturally when we
arrived at the school we expected to see
his car there. No Car! Of course I was
mouthing "clean" obsenities
about how unreliable he is and where
could they possibly have disappeared
to???? We waited 10 minutes and thought
we'd better put in an appearance..... Lo
and behold!! There they were sitting
outside the library waiting for us. He'd
parked in the secondary car park at the
back!!
Don't know what happened here.. no more news until January 2003
