In your MATERIALS PALETTE

Load SOLID RED ' #820000 ' in your foreground

Open a new image 600 x 480
Transparent background
PSPX/XI/X2 = RASTER BACKGROUND
PSPX/XI/X2: Colour Depth = 8bits/channel


Flood fill with RED

EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> SCULPTURE
COLOUR =
#820000



LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

Flood fill with RED

LAYERS >>> LOAD/SAVE MASK >>> LOAD MASK FROM DISK



LAYERS >>> DELETE


YES

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE GROUP

Select your DEFORMATION tool
Mode = SCALE
use default settings

PSPX/XI/XII:Select your PICK tool

Drag the CENTRE SIDE NODES towards the centre of the image
to the ruler marks shown below'
(I saved the following 2 images as a .jpg image so the RED is bleeding...
your image won't look like this)




Drag the CENTRE TOP & BOTTOM NODES towards the centre of the image
to the ruler marks shown below'




Click the RESET RECTANGLE arrow



With your MAGIC WAND
Mode =
OPACITY
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance =
85
Feather = 0
Antialias = UNchecked
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED
PSP9/X/XI/X2: Check CONTIGUOUS
PSPX/XI/X2: There is no " Sample Merged"

PSPX/XI/X2: Use all layers = UNChecked


Select the CENTRE of the image



SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND = 3

ACTIVATE RASTER 1

EDIT >>> CLEAR
SELECTIONS >>> SELECT NONE

ACTIVATE Group - Raster 2

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL





Open up the
doublediamondframe image in your PSP workspace
WINDOW >>> DUPLICATE
Close the original Image

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE

With the MERGED layer active

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 80%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE

ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN MORE

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 70
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK



EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW



ACTIVATE Group - Raster 2

EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
