Save to a folder on your computer

This tut is ultra simple... trust me *S*

Open all images in your PSP workspace and minimise.

In your MATERIALS PALETTE load
#605643 in the background
bgdBeige in the foreground using these settings



Open a new image 600 x 600
Transparent background
PSPX: Colour Depth = 8bits/channel

Flood fill with the foreground pattern

Choose your SELECTION TOOL
then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol

Enter these co-ordinates



IMAGE >>> CROP TO SELECTION

SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 32
EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
COLOUR =
#ebf0ff



Click OK

With your MAGIC WAND
Mode = Replace
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 0
Antialias = UNchecked
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED
PSP9/X: Check CONTIGUOUS
PSPX: There is no " Sample Merged"

PSPX: Use all layers = UNChecked


Select the transparent centre of the frame.

Flood fill with the solid background colour #605643

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK

SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 20
EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT

With your MAGIC WAND
Same settings
Select the plain border



EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
Same settings

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK

DESELECT

Change your background colour to Off White #e8eefc

With your MAGIC WAND
Same settings

Select the transparent centre of the frame.

Flood fill with the Off White

SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 10
EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT

With your MAGIC WAND
Same settings
Select the Off White border




EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
Same settings

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK

DESELECT

LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE

IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 80%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED

LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN

Select your DEFORMATION tool
PSPX: Select your PICK tool

Drag the centre side nodes out as shown below..




Click the Reset Rectangle arrow



IMAGE >>> MIRROR



With your MAGIC WAND
Same settings

Select the transparent centre of the frame.

SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND = 3

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN

SELECTIONS >>> INVERT

EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW



Click OK

DESELECT

Change your background colour to
#524a38

ACTIVATE RASTER 1 (Top Layer)

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL

Flood fill with background colour

SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 8
EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT

With your MAGIC WAND
Same settings
Select the new border

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
Same settings

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK

DESELECT

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

Open up the
JF_Deco144.pspimage in your workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 50%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED

Reposition with your Mover tool to the bottom right of the frame



ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
Same settings

EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW



LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE
Save as .psp image

Now, let's add the image...

Open up the
ex-zone7.jpg image in your workspace

If you wish to keep the frame to use again at some other time... then...

Activate the frame
WINDOW >>> DUPLICATE
Close the original frame

Right click on the Title Bar of the
ex-zone7.jpg image
and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your frame
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 80%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED

LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN

Reposition with your mover tool so all her hair is showing

EFFECTS >>> EDGE EFFECTS >>> ENHANCE

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE ALL (Flatten)
Save as .jpg image
