Save to a folder on your computer

goldenbeads.bmp
Save to your PSP Patterns folder

Grid.bmp
Save to your PSP Textures folder

Inspiration.ttf
Save to your WINDOWS >>> FONTS folder
or
to a folder where you store your extra fonts.

In your MATERIALS PALETTE
Load the ' goldenbeads ' pattern in your background
using the settings below.



Load SOLID PURPLE ' #575bd6 ' in your foreground

Open a new image 550 x 450
Transparent background
PSPX: Colour Depth = 8bits/channel

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol
and enter these coordinates.



Flood fill with PURPLE

EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS>>> BLINDS

EFFECTS>>> DISTORTION EFFECTS >>> CURLIQUES



LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

Flood fill with 'goldbeads' pattern

SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 3
EDIT >>> CLEAR

SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 3

Flood fill with 'goldbeads' pattern

SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 3
EDIT >>> CLEAR

DESELECT

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK

Close Raster 1

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE

Open & Activate Raster 1

Flood fill with PURPLE

EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS>>> BLINDS
Same settings BUT check "HORIZONTAL"

IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 90%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE

LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE

EFFECTS>>> DISTORTION EFFECTS >>> CURLIQUES
Same settings



Activate Raster 1

EFFECTS>>> DISTORTION EFFECTS >>> CURLIQUES
Same settings

IMAGE >>> FLIP

IMAGE >>> MIRROR



Close the MERGED layer

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE

Rename this layer "Merged 2"

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

Flood fill with PURPLE

EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS>>> BLINDS
UNCHECK "HORIZONTAL"

Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol
and enter these coordinates.



EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 2
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 4.00

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 2
Click OK

DESELECT

EFFECTS>>> GEOMETRIC EFFECTS >>> CIRCLE
EDGE MODE: Transparent

EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW



EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 130



Activate Merged 2

EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
Same settings

EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 315




LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

Flood fill with PURPLE

LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> SEND TO BOTTOM

EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE
COLOUR = #c0c0c0



ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN MORE



Activate the Merged (top) Layer BUT LEAVE CLOSED

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
