Save to your PSP Patterns folder
jcw_child_n_geese.psp
Save to a folder on your computer

In your MATERIALS PALETTE
Load the ' snowflake4060.jpg ' pattern in your foreground
Load the ' goldfill1.bmp ' pattern in your background
using the settings below.

Open a new image 500 x 500
Transparent background
PSPX: Colour Depth = 8bits/channel
Flood fill with the ' snowflake4060.jpg ' pattern
EFFECTS >>> EDGE EFFECTS >>> ENHANCE
SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 30
EDIT >>> CLEAR
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 80
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
Flood fill with the ' goldfill1.bmp ' pattern
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 3
EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Use the same settings
Click OK
Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to 1
Click OK
LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE
With your MAGIC WAND
Mode = Replace
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 0
Antialias = UNchecked
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED
PSP9/X: Check CONTIGUOUS
PSPX: There is no " Sample Merged"
PSPX: Use all layers = UNChecked
Select the CENTRE transparent area
In your MATERIALS PALETTE
Load the ' holly7157.jpg ' pattern in your foreground
LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
Flood fill with the ' holly7157.jpg ' pattern
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 20
EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
Same settings
EDIT >>> Repeat Inner Bevel
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Use the same settings
Click OK
Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to 1
Click OK
With your MAGIC WAND
Same settings
Select the CENTRE transparent area
LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
Flood fill with the ' goldfill1.bmp ' pattern
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 3
EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Use the same settings
Click OK
Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to 1
Click OK
Close the MERGED layer
LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE
Open the lower MERGED layer BUT keep the upper MERGED layer active.
With your MAGIC WAND
Same settings
Select the CENTRE transparent area
LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
Flood fill with the ' goldfill1.bmp ' pattern
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 3
EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Use the same settings
Click OK
Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to 1
Click OK
In your MATERIALS PALETTE
Load the ' snowflake4060.jpg ' pattern in your foreground
same settings
With your MAGIC WAND
Same settings
Select the CENTRE transparent area
LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
Flood fill with the ' snowflake4060.jpg ' pattern
EFFECTS >>> EDGE EFFECTS >>> ENHANCE
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 15
EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
Same settings
EDIT >>> Repeat Inner Bevel
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Use the same settings
Click OK
Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to 1
Click OK
With your MAGIC WAND
Same settings
Select the CENTRE transparent area
LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
Flood fill with the ' goldfill1.bmp ' pattern
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 3
EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Use the same settings
Click OK
Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to 1
Click OK
Close the MERGED layers
LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE
Open the other 2 MERGED layers
Still on the top MERGED layer
LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
IMAGE >>> ROTATE >>> FREE ROTATE = RIGHT 45
Ensure "All layers" is UNCHECKED
LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN
ACTIVATE THE TOP MERGED LAYER
With your MAGIC WAND
Same settings
Select the CENTRE transparent area
LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> SEND TO BOTTOM
In your MATERIALS PALETTE
Load the ' holly7157.jpg ' pattern in your foreground
same settings
Flood fill with the ' holly7157.jpg ' pattern
DESELECT
Close Raster 1
Activate one of the other layers
LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE
With your MAGIC WAND
Same settings
Select the CENTRE transparent area
OPEN and ACTIVATE Raster 1
EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT
ACTIVATE THE MERGED LAYER
EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
Repeat DROP SHADOW effect changing the DIRECTION to 135
ACTIVATE RASTER 1
ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN MORE
LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE
Save as .psp image
LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL
Flood fill with the ' goldfill1.bmp ' pattern
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 2
EDIT >>> CLEAR
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 2
Flood fill with the ' goldfill1.bmp ' pattern
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 2
EDIT >>> CLEAR
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 2
Flood fill with the ' goldfill1.bmp ' pattern
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 2
EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Use the same settings
Click OK
Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to 1
Click OK
LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE
Save as .psp image
The frame is ready for an image of your choice... or mine *S*
LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN
Flood fill with WHITE
Open up the "jcw_child_n_geese.psp" image in your PSP workspace
Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options
Go to your frame image ....
Right click on the Title Bar
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.
LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE ALL (Flatten)
Save as .jpg image
