You will need the following for this
tutorial:
Squiggly Tree, Poincettia, Bow, Scroll,
Scrollblue and Scrollwhite tubes
which you can get here HERE
Extract and save in a folder on your computer
BTW... the Scrollblue is a 'bonus'
for you to play with *S*
Actually... to tell the truth...
I was going to do another ring from it but
decided it would have been a bit too much.

Are we ready for Christmas???
NO? Well.. I'm here to help you out *S*

Open a new Image 400 x 400
Transparent Background
16 Million colours
PSPX/XI/X2 = RASTER BACKGROUND
PSPX/XI/X2: Colour Depth = 8bits/channel
Open the SquigglyTree tube
Right click on it's title bar and select COPY
from the drop down options.
Now Right click on the title bar of your blank
image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the drop down
options.
IMAGE >>> Resize
Resize to 50%
Make sure "Resize All Layers" is
UNchecked.
Your image should now look like this

Effects >>> Reflection Effects
>>> Kaleidoscope
and use the following settings

Your image will now look like this..

LAYERS >>>Merge >>> Merge
Visible
Save this as a .psp file. (eg:
GreenRing.psp)

Poincettia Ring
Open a new Image 400 x 400
Transparent Background
16 Million colours
PSPX/XI/X2 = RASTER BACKGROUND
PSPX/XI/X2: Colour Depth = 8bits/channel
Open the "Poincettia" tube
Right click on it's title bar and select COPY
from the drop down options.
Now Right click on the title bar of your blank
image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the drop down
options.
IMAGE >>> Resize
Resize to 50%
Make sure "Resize All Layers" is
UNchecked.
(same settings as before)
Your image should now look like this

Effects >>> Reflection Effects
>>> Kaleidoscope
and use the same settings as before.
And your image should look like this..

LAYERS >>>Merge >>> Merge
Visible
Save this as a .psp file. (eg:
PoincettiaRing.psp)
OK... We'll make a couple more rings,
then we'll put them all together to make a wreath

Now we need a bit of GOLD to brighten things up
*S*
Gold Ring
Open a new Image 400 x 400
Transparent Background
16 Million colours
PSPX/XI/X2 = RASTER BACKGROUND
PSPX/XI/X2: Colour Depth = 8bits/channel
Open the "Bow" tube
Right click on it's title bar and select COPY
from the drop down options.
Now Right click on the title bar of your blank
image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the drop down
options.
IMAGE >>> Resize
Resize to 50%
Make sure "Resize All Layers" is
UNchecked.
Effects >>> Reflection Effects
>>> Kaleidoscope
and use the following settings

Your image should now look like this.

Layers >>> Merge >>>
Merge Visible
Save as "GoldRing.psp"
OK... Last one coming up...
Gold Ring 2
Open a new Image 400 x 400
Transparent Background
16 Million colours
PSPX/XI/X2 = RASTER BACKGROUND
PSPX/XI/X2: Colour Depth = 8bits/channel
Open the "Scroll" tube
Right click on it's title bar and select COPY
from the drop down options.
Now Right click on the title bar of your blank
image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the drop down
options.
IMAGE >>> Resize
Resize to 75%
Make sure "Resize All Layers" is
UNchecked.
Effects >>> Reflection Effects
>>> Kaleidoscope
and use the following settings

You will notice in the corner there is a small
section of pattern which we DON'T want.

With your ERASER tool erase this.
Doesn't matter the settings... Not too big of
course..... Check the other corners as well.
Your image should look like this

LAYERS >>>Merge >>> Merge
Visible
Save this as
"GoldRing2.psp"

We're going to do one more *S*
Open a new Image 400 x 400
Transparent Background
16 Million colours
PSPX/XI/X2 = RASTER BACKGROUND
PSPX/XI/X2: Colour Depth = 8bits/channel
Open the "scrollwhite" tube
Right click on it's title bar and select COPY
from the drop down options.
Now Right click on the title bar of your blank
image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the drop down
options.
IMAGE >>> Resize
Resize to 75%
Make sure "Resize All Layers" is
UNchecked.
Effects >>> Reflection Effects
>>> Kaleidoscope
and use the following settings

EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects
>>> Drop Shadow.
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0
Your image should now look like this.

LAYERS >>>Merge >>> Merge
Visible
Save this as
"WhiteRing.psp"
OK... That's it!
Now we'll go and play with the rings and see what
we can design in the way of a wreath *S*
