Right... let's see.. we have 5 rings we've just created.
Poincettia Ring / Green Ring / Gold Ring / Gold Ring2 / and White Ring

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~


Open a new Image 400 x 400
Transparent Background
16 Million colours
PSPX/XI/X2 = RASTER BACKGROUND
PSPX/XI/X2: Colour Depth = 8bits/channel



Open the "PoincettiaRing" tube
Right click on it's title bar and select COPY from the drop down options.

Now Right click on the title bar of your blank image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the drop down options.

IMAGE >>> Resize = 75%
RESIZE TYPE = SMART SIZE
Resize all layers = UNCHECKED

ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN

Open the "GreenRing" tube
Right click on it's title bar and select COPY from the drop down options.

Now Right click on the title bar of your blank image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the drop down options.

Your image should look like this.




Open the "GoldRing2" tube
Right click on it's title bar and select COPY from the drop down options.

Now Right click on the title bar of your blank image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the drop down options.

IMAGE >>> Rotate >>>Free Rotate >>> Right 5
PSPXI/X2: IMAGE >>>Free Rotate >>> Right 5
All layers = UNchecked


Open the "WhiteRing" tube
Right click on it's title bar and select COPY from the drop down options.

Now Right click on the title bar of your blank image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the drop down options.

IMAGE >>> Rotate
Change the 5 to 10

ADJUST >>> Sharpness >>> Sharpen more.

Your image will look like this...



I've seen better.. haven't you?? *S*

OK let's play around some more....

Open the "GoldRing" tube
Right click on it's title bar and select COPY from the drop down options.

Now Right click on the title bar of your blank image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the drop down options.

IMAGE >>> Resize
This time make it 80%
ADJUST >>> Sharpness >>> Sharpen more.


Now we're going to mess around with the LAYERS
Because it still looks pretty ordinary





Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Click on Raster 1 to make it active .... It will change to a dark blue colour.


FLOOD FILL this with BLACK

WOW!!! Looks better already!!

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Click on Raster 6 and drag it below Raster 2




Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Click on Raster 2 and drag it up above Raster 5



Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Click on Raster 4 to make it active


IMAGE >>> Rotate...Free Rotate ... and Rotate 3 degrees LEFT

ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN

Go to your LAYER PALETTE ... Click on Raster 5 to make it active

IMAGE >>> Rotate ....Free Rotate ... and Rotate 2 degrees LEFT
PSPXI/PSPX2: IMAGE >>> Free Rotate ... and Rotate 2 degrees LEFT

ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN


Go to your LAYER PALETTE .... Click on the 'eyeball' on Raster 1 to close this layer
Click on any of the other layers to make it active

LAYERS >>> Merge >>> Merge Visible

ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN


Go to your LAYER PALETTE .... Click on the 'eyeball' on Raster 1 to OPEN this layer

FLOOD FILL with WHITE

Go to your LAYER PALETTE ....Click on the MERGED Layer to make active

With your SELECTION tool
Settings:
Type = Rectangle
Feather = 0
Antialias = UNchecked

Draw a rectangle around the outside of the Wreath

LEFT Click inside the rectangle to select the wreath

EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>>Drop Shadow
Horizontal & Veritical = 1
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0
Colour = Black


EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>>Drop Shadow
Horizontal & Veritical = 9
Opacity = 55
Blur = 10.6
Colour = Black



DESELECT

If you save this as a .psp image, with the two layers then you can add Layers at a future time
to contain Text, Baubles in fact anything you like, or even change the background (Layer1)
to match your web page. *S*
