Open up the 'Holly' tube
Right click on the title bar and
select COPY from the drop down options

Right click on the title bar of your 'star' image and
select PASTE INTO SELECTION from
the drop down options.

Centre the image over your 'star'

Go to EFFECTS >>>3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Use these settings



DESELECT


Go to your LAYER PALETTE
and click on Layer1 to make it active.

Go to LAYERS >>> New Raster Layer

Open up your 'Hanger' tube
Right click on the title bar and
select COPY from the drop down options

Right click on the title bar of your 'star' image and
select PASTE INTO SELECTION from
the drop down options.

Centre the 'Hanger' at the TOP of the 'star'.


DESELECT




Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Click on the 'glasses' on Layer1 to close it
Click on any of the other layers.

Go to LAYERS >>>Merge >>> Merge Visible.

At this stage I would save the image as a .psp (tube)
so that I could use it over and over as part of other images.

To create a result for this lesson however..
Once you have saved it as a .PSP image
Go to WINDOW >>> Duplicate

Using the duplicated image
You may now add a shadow on the Merged Layer,
a background on Layer1.
Add a border, text... whatever you wish
