You will need the !!Mysitc~sjf.msk for this tut
which you can download HERE
Extract to your Paint Shop Pro7/Masks folder

and you'll also need the Gold Foil Pattern
which you can download HERE
Extract to your Paint Shop Pro7/Patterns folder


Right click and save this pattern to a folder on your computer.

Open up a new image 400 x 400
transparent background
Flood fill with DARK BROWN ( #210A01 )

Load the GOLD FOIL pattern into your background (lower) STYLES box
on your Colour Palette.


Go to LAYERS >>>> New Raster Layer
Go to MASKS >>> Load from disc
Locate your !!Mysitc~sjf.msk

Go to MASKS >>> View Mask
Go to MASKS >>>> Invert

Flood fill the 'clear area' with the GOLD pattern.



Go to MASKS >>> Delete

Click YES on the message that follows




Go to EFFECTS >>>> Edge >>> Enhance

Go to EFFECTS >>>> Sharpen >>> Sharpen.
Repeat the Sharpen Effect 2 more times.

Go to LAYERS >>> Merge >>> Merge Visible

Go to IMAGE >>> Resize
Use these settings



Click OK

With your Magic Wand..
Click on the transparent area surrounding your image.

Go to LAYERS >>> New Raster Layer
Flood fill with the GOLD FOIL pattern.

Go to SELECTIONS >>> Invert
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Modify >>> Expand = 5
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Invert
Hit your DELETE KEY

DESELECT

Change the TOLERANCE on your MAGIC WAND to 100
Select the Gold Border

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow



Click OK

Repeat Drop Shadow changing
Vertical and Horizontal offsets to - (minus) 1
Click OK
DESELECT
