Change your Background colour to Pink
from the Colour Samples
Go to IMAGE >>> Add Border = 15
COLOUR = PINK
With your MAGIC WAND
Same settings
Select the new border
Flood fill with GOLD FOIL
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Invert
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Modify
>>>> Expand 2
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Invert
Hit your DELETE key
Change your Background colour to Maroon
from the Colour Samples
Go to LAYERS >>> New Raster
Layer
Flood fill with Maroon
Go to EFFECTS >>> Plugins
>>> Simple >>> Zoom Out
& Flip
DO NOT DESELECT
Flood fill the section in between the
Maroon squares with
the GOLD FOIL Pattern
DESELECT
With your MAGIC WAND
Same settings
Holding down your Shift key
Select each of the Maroon squares
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Modify
>>>> Expand 2
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Invert
Hit your DELETE key
Flood Fill with Dark Blue
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Modify
>>>> Contract = 20
Hit your DELETE key
Go to ADJUST >>> Brightness
& Contrast >>> Brightness
& Contrast
Click OK
Go to
EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects
>>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop
Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - (
minus ) 1
Click OK
Go to
SELECTIONS >> Invert
Go to EFFECTS >>> Plugins
>>> Eye Candy 3 >>>
Drop Shadow
NOTE THE COLOUR
(The dark red from the Colour Chart...
4th from the right on top row)
Click OK
Repeat Drop Shadow Changing DIRECTION to
= 270
Click OK
Repeat Drop Shadow Changing DIRECTION to
= 180
Click OK
Repeat Drop Shadow Changing DIRECTION to
= 90
Click OK
DESELECT
With your MAGIC WAND
Same settings
Select the Maroon squares as shown below
Your image should be clearer than this
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Modify
>>> Expand 2
Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects
>>> Inner Bevel
Use the same settings
Click OK
DESELECT
With your MAGIC WAND
Same settings
Select the blue area surrounding the
squares
Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects
>>> Inner Bevel
CHANGE THE DEPTH TO = 10
Click OK
DESELECT
With the Maroon as your background colour
Go to IMAGE >>> Add Borders = 18
COLOUR = MAROON
With your MAGIC WAND
Same settings
Select the Maroon border
Go to LAYERS >>> Duplicate
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Invert
Hit your DELETE Key
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Invert
Go to EFFECTS >>> Plugins
>>> Simple >>> Zoom Out
& Flip
With your MAGIC WAND
Same settings
Click in one corner of the border
Flood fill the selected squares with Dark
Blue
DESELECT
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Select All
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Modify
>>> Contract = 18
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Invert
Go to Layers >>> Duplicate
Flood fill between the Blue squares with
Maroon
Go to Layers >>> Duplicate
Flood fill between the Blue squares with
Gold Foil
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Modify
>>> Contract = 2
Hit your DELETE Key
Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects
>>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = - (
minus ) 1
COLOUR = BLACK
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop
Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to 1
Click OK
DESELECT
Go to SELECTIONS
>>> Modify >>> Contract
= 2
Flood fill with Gold Foil
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Modify
>>> Contract = 2
Hit your DELETE Key
Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects
>>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
COLOUR = BLACK
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop
Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - (
minus ) 1
Click OK
DESELECT
Go to SELECTIONS
>>> Modify >>> Contract
= 2
Flood fill with Gold Foil
Go to EFFECTS
>>> 3D Effects >>> Drop
Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
COLOUR = BLACK
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop
Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - (
minus ) 1
Click OK
DESELECT
This is a close up of what the border
should look like
Go to your LAYER PALETTE
It should look like this
Drag the top layer "Copy (2) of
Background"
on top of "Copy of Background"
so that your Layer Palette now looks like
this
Click on the top layer "Copy of
Background"
to activate
With your MAGIC WAND
Same settings
Select the Maroon areas surrounding the
squares
holding down your SHIFT key at the same
time
When all are selected
Hit your DELETE key
DESELECT
With your MAGIC WAND
Same settings
holding down your SHIFT key at the same
time
Select the Blue squares
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Modify
>>> Contract = 2
Flood fill the selections with the Gold
Foil
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Modify
>>> Expand = 2
Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects
>>> Inner Bevel
CHANGE THE DEPTH TO
= 16
Click OK
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Modify
>>> Contract = 4
Flood fill the selections with BLUE
DESELECT

Save as a .jpg image
