Go back to the 'flowers' tube

Select your FREEHAND (Lasso) tool

Section off the flower as shown below.




Click once inside the sectioned off area to select the flower.

Click on the title bar and
select COPY from the options.

Go to your LAYER PALETTE and
click on 'Heart 12' to make this layer active.

Go to LAYERS >>> New Raster Layer

Click on the title bar and
select PASTE AS NEW SELECTION from the options.

Slide the bud in between the cream and the green hearts.

Go to IMAGE >>> Resize = 85%
Make sure 'Resize all layers' is UNCHECKED


Select your RETOUCH tool
Use the same settings

Go to your LAYER PALETTE and
close Heart 2 and Heart 3
Click on Layer 5 to make it active



Depressing your right mouse button proceed to paint the flower pink.




DESELECT



Go to your LAYER PALETTE and
click on 'Heart 3' to make this layer active and
reduce the opacity to 50%.

Select your ERASER tool
Use the same settings.
Erase the sections shown below.




When you're done
Go to your LAYER PALETTE and
increase the opacity on 'Heart 3' to 100%

Open all layers EXCEPT Layer 1





Go back to the 'flowers' tube

Click on the title bar and
select COPY from the options.

Go to your LAYER PALETTE and
click on 'Heart 3' to make this layer active.

Go to LAYERS >>> New Raster Layer

Click on the title bar and
select PASTE AS NEW SELECTION from the options

Go to IMAGE >>> Mirror.

Position the flower as shown below




Select your EYEDROPPER tool
Right Click on the Pale Blue in the colour swatch

Select your RETOUCH tool
Use the same settings

Depressing your right mouse button paint the flower blue.

DESELECT

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
starting from the top layer (Layer 6)
select the layers one at a time and apply the following Drop Shadow.
EXCLUDING LAYER 1


Go to EFFECTS >>> Plugins >>> EyeCandy 3 >>> Drop Shadow.




You may have to touch up the flower after you add the drop shadow to Heart 3.
Select your ERASER tool
Make sure Heart 3 is active
and erase the shadow from the top of the flower.




Open up the 'tag' tube
Go to WINDOW >>> Duplicate
Close the original tube.

With the duplicate tube active
Go to IMAGE >>> Resize 53%

Click on the title bar and select COPY from the options

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
click on Heart 3 to make it active.

Go to LAYERS >>> New Raster Layer
Click on the title bar and select
PASTE AS NEW SELECTION from the options

Go to EFFECTS >>> Sharpen >>> Sharpen

Go to EFFECTS >>> Plugins >>> EyeCandy 3 >>> Drop Shadow.
Use the same settings

DESELECT

Select your ERASER tool
and erase the sections of the 'ties' as shown below
including the shadow created by the 'ties'.






Make sure your Foreground colour is set to NULL
and the Background colour to Pale Blue


Go to LAYERS >>> New Raster Layer
Select your TEXT tool


Select an appropriate font
Adjust the 'Leading' so that the 2 lines of text are close together
I used 'Kerning' on this font to make the letters closer together



Make sure that the text will fit on the tab..
If not... adjust the size.



Go to IMAGE >>> Rotate = 50%

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Settings:
Vertical & Horizontal = 1
Opacity = 80
Blur = 0
Colour = BLACK
Click OK

Go to EFFECTS >>> Sharpen >>> Sharpen

DESELECT

Go to LAYERS >>> Merge >>> Merge Visible

On the next page we will 'spruce up' the background
and add a frame.
