SHAMROCK FRAME

Open a new image 400 x 400
transparent background
Select your SELECTION tool
Use these settlings and
Click the Custom Selections Icon



Use these settings



Click OK




Go to SELECTIONS >>> Invert
Flood fill with GREEN
Go to EFFECTS >>> Texture Effects >>> Blinds



Click OK

DESELECT

Go to LAYERS >>> New Raster Layer

Right Click on the title bar of your Shamrock tube
select COPY from the drop down options


Right Click on the title bar of your Frame
select PASTE AS NEW SELECTION
from the drop down options

Go to IMAGE >>> Resize 50%
(You may have to adjust this depending on how large you made your shamrock)
Make sure "Resize All Layers" is UNCHECKED

Click OK

Go to IMAGE >>> Mirror
Position the shamrock at the lower left of the frame




Go to EFFECTS >>> Plugins >>> EyeCandy3 >>> Drop Shadow



Click OK

DESELECT


Go to LAYERS >>> Duplicate

Go to IMAGE >>> Resize 50%
Make sure "Resize All Layers" is UNCHECKED

Click OK

Go to IMAGE >>> Mirror
With your MOVER tool,
Position the shamrock at the top right of the frame

Go to ADJUST >>> Sharpness >>> Sharpen

Go to EFFECTS >>> Plugins >>> EyeCandy3 >>> Drop Shadow
Use the same settings
Click OK

DESELECT



Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Close Raster1 by clicking on the 'eye'
Make sure one of the other layers is highlighted.
Go to LAYERS >>> Merge >>> Merge Visible

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Open Raster1 by clicking on the 'glasses'
Make sure the Merged Layer is highlighted

Go to LAYERS >>> New Raster Layer


Open up your Gold Pattern in your lower Materials box
and Null the upper GREEN Materials Box


Select your TEXT tool
with the 'Balmoral D' font
settings as shown below





type in "Happy St. Pat's Day"





Click OK


Position the text in the upper Green portion of your image


Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow



Click OK

Go to EFFECTS >>> Plugins >>> EyeCandy3 >>> Drop Shadow
Use same settings as before

Go to ADJUST >>> Sharpness >>> Sharpen
Repeat "Sharpen" effect.
DESELECT

Go to LAYERS >>> Merge >>> Merge Visible


Go to IMAGE >>> Resize = 85%
Make sure "Resize All Layers" is UNCHECKED
Go to ADJUST >>> Sharpness >>> Sharpen





BORDER 1

With your MAGIC WAND select the transparent
area surrounding your frame
Flood fill with the Goldfoil pattern

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Horizontal & Vertical = 1
Opacity = 78
Blur = 0
Click OK

Repeat Drop Shadow
Changing Horizontal & Vertical to = - (minus) 1
Click OK

Go to EFFECTS >>> Plugins >>> EyeCandy3 >>> Drop Shadow
Use same settings
Click OK



Go to SELECTIONS >>> Invert

Go to SELECTIONS >>> Modify >>> Expand = 3

Go to SELECTIONS >>>> Invert
Hit your DELETE Key





BORDER 2


Flood fill selected area with solid green colour
Go to EFFECTS >>> Distortion Effects >>> Curly Q's



Click OK

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Horizontal & Vertical = 1
Opacity = 78
Blur = 0
Click OK

Repeat Drop Shadow
Changing Horizontal & Vertical to = - (minus) 1
Click OK


Go to SELECTIONS >>>> Invert

Go to SELECTIONS >>> Modify >>> Expand = 10

Go to SELECTIONS >>>> Invert
Hit your DELETE Key




BORDER 3

Flood fill the transparent area with the Goldfoil pattern.

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Horizontal & Vertical = 1
Opacity = 78
Blur = 0
Click OK

Repeat Drop Shadow
Changing Horizontal & Vertical to = - (minus) 1
Click OK

Go to SELECTIONS >>>> Invert
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Modify >>> Expand 3

Go to SELECTIONS >>>> Invert

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Horizontal & Vertical = 1
Opacity = 78
Blur = 0
Click OK

Repeat Drop Shadow
Changing Horizontal & Vertical to = - (minus) 1
Click OK






BORDER 4


Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Horizontal & Vertical = 1
Opacity = 78
Blur = 0
Click OK

Repeat Drop Shadow
Changing Horizontal & Vertical to = - (minus) 1
Click OK


Go to SELECTIONS >>>> Invert
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Modify >>> Expand 3
Go to SELECTIONS >>>> Invert


Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Horizontal & Vertical = 1
Opacity = 78
Blur = 0
Click OK

Repeat Drop Shadow
Changing Horizontal & Vertical to = - (minus) 1
Click OK

Hit your DELETE key

And that's all there is to it *S*
SAVE as a .psp image

To add an image and save as a .gif file
go to the next page.
