SHADOW REFLECTION
PSP7

Had a request from one of my testers as to how to create this effect,
so I decided to make a tutorial and frame the result *S*

You will need the following to complete this tutorial


You will also need the "Mary" tube
which you can download
HERE
Extract to a folder on your computer




and the "Corner" tube
which you can download
HERE
Extract to a folder on your computer

Open up the 'Mary' tube in your PSP Workspage
Go to WINDOWS >>> DUPLICATE (Twice)
You will need 2 copies of the image.
Close the original tube.


Select one of the copies to make active.
Go to COLOURS >>> GREYSCALE
Go to COLOURS >>> INCREASE COLOUR DEPTH >>> 16MIL COLOURS
Right click on the title bar and
select COPY from the options.



Open a new image 450 x 450
transparent background.

Flood fill with WHITE (Or any colour of your choosing)

Right click on the title bar and
select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options

With your mover tool move the image towards the upper left
as shown below



Go to your LAYER PALETTE and reduce the OPACITY
on Layer 2 to 35%




Right click on the Title Bar of the 2nd duplicated tube
and select COPY from the options.

Right click on the Title Bar of your new image and
select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options

Go to IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 75%



Click OK

With your mover tool move the image towards the lower right
as shown below




There.... how simple was that???? *S*

OK lets Frame it *S*

Go to LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE ALL (Flatten)


Go to IMAGE >>> RESIZE



Click OK

Go to your COLOUR PALETTE
Load GREEN ( #698365 ) in your background Styles Box
and
Load TAN ( #D29F7A ) in your foreground Styles Box


Go to IMAGE >>> ADD BORDERS = Symmetric 15

With your MAGIC WAND
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 0
Antialias = UNchecked
Select the GREEN border

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK


Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 8
Colour = Black
Opacity = 60
Blur = 12.9
Click OK

DESELECT

BORDER 2

Click on the arrows between the foreground and background colours
at the top of your COLOUR PALETTE
so that the TAN is now your Background colour

Go to IMAGE >>> ADD BORDERS = Symmetric 15

With your MAGIC WAND
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 0
Antialias = UNchecked
Select the TAN border

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 8
Colour = Black
Opacity = 60
Blur = 12.9

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 8




Go to EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> MuRa's Seamless >>> Polkadot
Use the default settings



Click OK
DESELECT

With your MAGIC WAND
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 0
Antialias = UNchecked
Select a TAN section of the border

Hold down your SHIFT KEY and continue until
all the TAN sections have been selected


Go to LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> CUTOUT
Use these settings



Click OK





Go to LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE

DO NOT DESELECT



BORDER 3

Go to LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
Go to SELECTIONS >>>INVERT
Go to EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT

Go to EFFECTS >>> GEOMETRIC EFFECTS >>> PUNCH






Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
Use these settings



Click OK
