Rita Hayworth was one of my favourite actresses
and I loved the film "Gilda"
in which she starred with Glenn Ford

In this tut we take a pretty poor image and alter it to look like
a black and white painting, then add the frame.

You will need the following to complete this tutorial.


'Glacier' pattern
download
Download and extract to your PSP Patterns folder.

REDFIELD ~ Mesh 3D
download

DSB Flux
download

Eye Candy 3
download

Download and extract to your PSP Plugins Folder


Right click and save this image to a folder on your computer

Open up the "Rita1"image in your PSP workspace
Go to WINDOW >>> Duplicate
Close the original image

Go to EFFECTS >>> Noise >>> Edge Preserving Smooth
Amount of Smoothing = 5
Go to EDIT >>> Repeat Edge Preserving Smooth

Go to EFFECTS >>> Artistic Effects >>> Old Newspaper
Amount of Aging = 57%

Go to COLOURS >>> Adjust >>> Brightness & Contrast


Click OK


Go to EFFECTS >>> Sharpen >>> Unsharp Mask



Click OK

Go to EFFECTS >>> Sharpen >>> Sharpen


Your image is now ready to frame.

Go to your COLOUR PALETTE and
load the 'Glacier' pattern in your Background (lower) STYLES box





Load solid BLACK in the uppermost Background box
and any other light colour in the uppermost Foreground box




OK.... we're ready to roll.....
