RED HEARTS FRAME

You will need the following to complete this tutorial

DSB Flux
download

FM Tile Tools
download
Download and extract to your PSP Plugins Folder.

You will also need the "Corner" tube
which you can download HERE
Extract to a folder on your computer


Right Click and save the following 3 images to a folder on your computer

RH1patt'



'nk_glass4'



"Red Hearts"

Open up the 'nk-glass4" and "Red Hearts" images in your PSP workspace.

With the "Red Hearts" image....

Go to LAYERS >>>> Promote to Layer
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Select All
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Modify >>> Contract = 25
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Invert

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> OUTER Bevel
Use these settings
(Save the settings... call it RedHeart)



Click OK
Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Use these settings



Click OK
Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> INNER Bevel
Use the "RedHeart" preset you just saved)

Click OK
DESELECT




Change your background colour to RED ( #B82F0F ) in the
TOP Upper RIGHT box in your
COLOUR PALETTE




Load the 'nk_glass4' pattern in your background
LOWER STYLES box
Scale = 100
Angle = 0





BORDER 1

Go to IMAGE >>> Add Borders = 5

With your MAGIC WAND
Settings:
Match Mode - RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 0
Sample Merged = UNchecked
Select the RED border and
flood fill with the 'nk_4glass' pattern

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Settings
Vertical = - (minus) 1
Horizontal = - (minus) 1
Opacity = 100
Blur = 3.5
Colour = BLACK

Click OK

Repeat Drop Shadow
changing Vertical & Horizontal offsets to 1
Click OK


Go to EFFECTS >>> Edge >>> Enhance More
DESELECT



BORDER 2

Go to IMAGE >>> Add Borders = 15
With your MAGIC WAND select the RED border

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> INNER Bevel
Use the "RedHeart" preset
Click OK.

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Settings
Vertical = 1
Horizontal = 1
Opacity = 100
Blur = 3.5
Colour = BLACK

Click OK

Repeat Drop Shadow
changing Vertical & Horizontal offsets to - (minus) 1
Click OK

DESELECT




BORDER 3

Click on the arrow between the upper boxes on your COLOUR PALETTE
to change the background to BLACK



Go to IMAGE >>> Add Borders = 5

With your MAGIC WAND

Select the BLACK border and
flood fill with the 'nk_4glass' pattern

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Settings
Vertical = - (minus) 1
Horizontal = - (minus) 1
Opacity = 100
Blur = 3.5
Colour = BLACK

Click OK

Repeat Drop Shadow
changing Vertical & Horizontal offsets to 1
Click OK


Go to EFFECTS >>> Edge >>> Enhance More
DESELECT





BORDER 4

Load the 'RH2patt' pattern in your background
UPPER STYLES box (foreground)
Scale = 100
Angle = 0


Go to IMAGE >>> Add Borders = 20

With your MAGIC WAND

Select the BLACK border and
flood fill with the 'RH1patt'

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> INNER Bevel
Use the "RedHeart" preset
Click OK.

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Settings
Vertical = 1
Horizontal = 1
Opacity = 100
Blur = 3.5
Colour = BLACK

Click OK

Repeat Drop Shadow
changing Vertical & Horizontal offsets to - (minus) 1
Click OK

Go to EFFECTS >>> Plugins >>>>DSB Flux >>> Tiler
Use these settings



Click OK





Go to EFFECTS >>> Plugins >>> FM Tile Tools >>> Blend Emboss
Use these settings



Click Apply



Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Settings
Vertical = 1
Horizontal = 1
Opacity = 100
Blur = 3.5
Colour = BLACK

Click OK

Repeat Drop Shadow
changing Vertical & Horizontal offsets to - (minus) 1
Click OK

DESELECT

Go to IMAGE >>> Resize
Use these settings



Click OK

Go to EFFECTS >>> Sharpen >>> Unsharp Mask
Use these settings



Click OK




BORDER 5


Click on the arrow between the upper boxes on your COLOUR PALETTE
to change the background to RED



Go to IMAGE >>> Add Borders = 2

With your MAGIC WAND
Select the RED border and....


Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Settings
Vertical = 1
Horizontal = 1
Opacity = 100
Blur = 3.5
Colour = BLACK

Click OK

Repeat Drop Shadow
changing Vertical & Horizontal offsets to - (minus) 1
Click OK

DESELECT


Open up your 'Corner' tube
Right click on the Title Bar and
select COPY from the options.

Activate your framed image
Go to LAYERS >>> New Raster Layer

Right click on the Title Bar and
select PASTE AS NEW SELECTION from the options.

Go to IMAGE >>> Resize = 50%
"Resize All Layers" = UNCHECKED

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0

Go to EFFECTS >>> Sharpen >>> Sharpen

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 2
Opacity = 50
Blur = 3.5

Go to EFFECTS >>> Sharpen >>> Sharpen More

Position the corner to the bottom right of the frame
as shown below.



DESELECT

Go to LAYERS >>> Duplicate
Go to IMAGE >>> Mirror

Go to your LAYER PALETTE and
CLOSE the Background layer

Go to LAYERS >>> Merge >>> Merge Visible

Go to LAYERS >>> Duplicate
Go to IMAGE >>> Flip

Go to LAYERS >>> Merge >>> Merge Visible

Go to your LAYER PALETTE and
OPEN the Background layer

Go to EFFECTS >>> Sharpen >>> Sharpen


Go to LAYERS >>> Merge >>> Merge All (Flatten)



FINIT!! *S*

You may resize further if you wish.
Save as a .jpg file
