Go to your LAYER PALETTE
and click on Layer 1 to make it active.




Change your foreground clolour (Top Style Box) to Pink ( #E36A73 )

Flood fill Layer 1 with the Pink

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Reduce the Opacity on Layer 1 to 50%
and the Blend Mode to Exclusion.




Click on Layer 2 to make it active.

With your MAGIC WAND
Settings
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 0
Sample Merged = UNchecked

Select the area surrounding the "Best Friends" small image.

Go to SELECTIONS >>> Invert

Go to EFFECTS >>> Plugins >>> Eye Candy 3 >>> Drop Shadow
Use these settings.




Click OK

Go to COLOURS >>> Adjust >>> Gamma Correction
Use these settings



Click OK

Go to EFFECTS >>> Sharpen >>> Unsharp Mask
Use these settings



Click OK

DESELECT



Go to your LAYER PALETTE
and click on Layer 1 to make it active.

Change your foreground colour to Orange ( #FFB340 )
Flood fill Layer 1 with Orange




Go to LAYERS >>> Merge >>> Merge All (Flatten)

Go to IMAGE >>> Resize 85%

Make sure "Resize All Layers" is CHECKED

With your SELECTION tool
Settings:
Selection Type = Rectangle
Feather = 0
Antialias = UNchecked

starting about 80 pixels in from the left
draw a rectangle as shown below





Go to IMAGE >>> Crop to Selection.
