Select your MAGIC WAND
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 0
Antialias = UNchecked

Click on the transparent area surounding your shape.

Go to SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
Go to NEW RASTER LAYER
Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> CUTOUT
Use these settings



Click OK




DESELECT

Go to LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Rename the MERGED layer "LEFT"

CLOSE this layer and click on the CENTRE layer
to open and activate

Select your MAGIC WAND
Same settings

Click on the transparent area surounding your shape.

Go to SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
Go to NEW RASTER LAYER
Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> CUTOUT
Use these settings



Click OK



REPEAT Drop Shadow effect
CHANGING the Horizontal setting to 4
Click OK
DESELECT

Go to LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Rename the MERGED layer "CENTRE"


***THIS WOULD BE A GOOD TIME TO SAVE YOUR IMAGE***


CLOSE this layer and click on the RIGHT layer
to open and activate

Click on your DEFORMATION TOOL

Place your cursor in the centre of the top right node
and WITH THE SHIFT KEY DEPRESSED
drag upwards (as shown below),
then place your cursor in the centre of the bottom right node
and drag downwards.
You can use the squares on the transparent background
to judge the distance so that you drag the same distance for both
You could also open the LEFT layer to check on the distance
you have to 'drag' the nodes so both sides are the same.
Close the LEFT Layer once you've finished making comparisons.
