With your MAGIC WAND
Click in the area outside the patterned border.

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Click on "Copy of Raster 1" to activate


Go to LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
Go to SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
Go to EDIT >>> CLEAR


Go to SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
Flood Fill with the Gold Foil pattern
Go to SELECTIONS >>> INVERT

Go to SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>>EXPAND 3
Go to SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
Go to EDIT >>> CLEAR

DESELECT


With your MAGIC WAND
Tolerance 150

Select the gold border

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK

DESELECT

With your MAGIC WAND
Click in the area outside the gold border

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Click on "Copy of Raster 1" to activate


Go to LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
Go to SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
Go to EDIT >>> CLEAR


Go to SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>>EXPAND 15
Go to SELECTIONS >>> INVERT

Go to EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT

With your MAGIC WAND
Tolerance = 170
Click in the new border area, close to the gold border.




Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Inner Bevel
Use the same settings
Click OK

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = - ( minus ) 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to = 1
Click OK

DESELECT

With your MAGIC WAND
Click in the area outside the patterned border.

Go to your LAYER PALETTE

Select the gold border

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK

DESELECT

With your MAGIC WAND
Click in the area outside the gold border

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Click on "Copy of Raster 1" to activate


Go to LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
Go to SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
Go to EDIT >>> CLEAR


Go to SELECTIONS >>> INVERT

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Inner Bevel
Use the same settings
Click OK

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = - ( minus ) 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to = 1
Click OK

DESELECT

Go to LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE ALL (Flatten)




Click on your SELECTION TOOL
Click on CUSTOM SELECTION



Enter these co-ordinates



Click OK


Go to LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
Go to EDIT >>> CLEAR

Go to SELECTIONS >>> INVERT

Go to EFFECTS >>> REFLECTION EFFECTS >>> ROTATING MIRROR



Click OK


Go to EFFECTS >>> REFLECTION EFFECTS >>> ROTATING MIRROR



Click OK
(If you play around with the Rotation Angle you can create
different effects *S*)

Go to LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE ALL (Flatten)

Go to IMAGE >>> ADD BORDERS = 3
(Using a background colour that's NOT in the image)

With your MAGIC WAND
Tolerance = 0

Select the new border
Flood Fill with the Gold Foil pattern

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK

DESELECT

Resize to suit
Go to EFFECTS >>> Sharpen >>> Sharpen
Save as a .jpg image
and you're done.
