You will need the following to complete this tutorial

Eye Candy 3
download
or
download
Download and extract to your PSP Plugins Folder


"prc_lace" Tube
download
Download and extract to a folder on your computer


Right click and save this 'PeachPatt" image to a folder on your computer



Right click and save this "Oriental" image to a folder on your computer





********************************

Open up the "Oriental" image on PSP
Go to WINDOW >>> Duplicate
Close the original image


With the duplicated image
Go to IMAGE >>> Resize



Go to ADJUST >>> Sharpness >>> Sharpen

Open up your 'PeachPatt' pattern and
the 'prc_lace' tube
(Bet this is the first time you've used a TUBE as a pattern *S*)

Set up your MATERIALS PALETTE
as in these diagrams
Load the 'prc_lace' tube in your Foreground
and
Load the 'peachpatt' in your Background







All set???
Right let's get creative *S*

Click on the duplicated 'Oriental' image to activate


BORDER 1

Go to SELECT >>> Select all
Go to SELECT >>> Modify >>> Contract 8
Go to SELECT >>> Invert

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Inner Bevel
Use the 'BEAD' Preset
BUT CHANGE THE 'INTENSITY' TO 50



Click OK

Go to EFFECTS >>> Plugins >>> Eye Candy 3 >>> Drop Shadow



Click OK

DESELECT





BORDER 2

Go to IMAGE >>> Add Borders 15
COLOUR = PEACH

With your MAGIC WAND
Mode = Replace
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 0
Antialias = UNchecked
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED

Select the peach border
FLOOD FILL with the 'PeachPatt".

Go to EFFECTS >>> Edge Effects >>> Enhance

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Inner Bevel




Click OK

DESELECT





BORDER 3

Go to IMAGE >>> Add Borders 3
COLOUR = RED

With your MAGIC WAND
Same settings

Select the RED border

On your MATERIALS PALETTE
Change foreground to WHITE Solid

Flood fill with WHITE

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = - ( minus ) 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to 1
Click OK

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Inner Bevel
Use the 'BEAD' Preset
BUT CHANGE THE 'INTENSITY' TO 50
Click OK

DESELECT
