You will need the following items
'GoldFoil' pattern
download
Download and extract
to your PSP Patterns folder.
You will also need the "Bird on
Orchids" tube
which you can download HERE
Extract to a folder
on your computer
Masks
download
Download and extract
to your PSP Masks folder.
EyeCandy3
Download and extract
to your PSP Plugins Folder
********************************
Load the Golf Foil pattern into your
foreground MATERIALS box
in your COLOUR PALETTE
Angle = 0
Scale = 100
Load DARK RED (solid) (#800000) into your
background MATERIALS box
in your COLOUR PALETTE
Open up a new image 400 x 400
Transparent background
Flood fill with the DARK RED
Go to LAYERS >>> New Raster
Layer
Flood fill with the GOLD FOIL pattern
Go to LAYERS >>> Load/Save Mask
>>> Load mask from disk
Locate and select the 'Decor 145' mask
Click LOAD
Go to LAYERS >>> Delete
Click YES
Go to LAYERS >>> Merge
>>> Merge Group
Select your FREEHAND (LASSO) tool
and section off the 'diamond' in the
centre of the image
Hit your DELETE key
Go to LAYERS >>> New Raster
Layer
Flood fill the selected area with the
DARK RED
DESELECT
Go to LAYERS >>> New Raster
Layer
Flood fill the selected area with the
Gold Foil pattern
Go to LAYERS >>> Load/Save Mask
>>> Load mask from disk
Locate and select the 'ChequerboardJF'
mask
Same settings as before
Click LOAD
Go to LAYERS >>> Delete
Click YES on the options box that appears
Go to LAYERS >>> Merge
>>> Merge Group
Go to your LAYER PALETTE and
CLOSE Raster 2, Group - Raster 2 and
Raster 1.
Make sure Group - Raster 3 is highlighted
Go to
EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects
>>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Opacity = 100
Blur = 1.2
Repeat Drop
Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - (
minus ) 1
Click OK
DESELECT
Go to IMAGE >>> Resize = 70%
Make sure "Resize All Layers"
is UNCHECKED
Go to IMAGE >>> Rotate
Go to IMAGE >>> Resize = 85%
Make sure "Resize All Layers"
is UNCHECKED
Go to your LAYER PALETTE and
OPEN ALL LAYERS
Go to EFFECTS >>> Plugins
>>> Eye Candy 3 >>>
Drop Shadow
Click OK
Go to your LAYER PALETTE and
click on Raster 2 to activate
Repeat Drop Shadow effect
Go to your LAYER PALETTE and
click on Group - Raster 2 to activate
Repeat Drop Shadow effect
Go to your LAYER PALETTE and
on Group - Raster 2 and Group - Raster 3
REDUCE the OPACITY to 70%
Click on Raster 2 to activate
Go to ADJUST >>> Brightness
& Contrast >>> Gamma
Correction
Click OK
Go to your LAYER PALETTE and
Click on Group - Raster 2 to activate
Go to EFFECTS >>> Sharpen
>>> Sharpen
Go to your LAYER PALETTE and
Click on Group - Raster 3 to activate
Go to EFFECTS >>> Sharpen
>>> Sharpen
Go to LAYERS >>> Merge
>>> Merge All (Flatten)
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Select All
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Modify
>>> Contract = 15
Go to LAYERS >>> New Raster
Layer
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Invert
Flood fill with the Gold Foil pattern
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Invert
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Modify
>>> Expand = 4
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Invert
Hit your DELETE key
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Invert
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Modify
>>> Contract = 4
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Invert
Go to EFFECTS >>> Plugins
>>> Eye Candy 3 >>>
Drop Shadow
Use the same settings
Click OK
Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects
>>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = -
(minus) 1
Opacity = 100
Blur = 1.2
DESELECT
Go to IMAGE >>> Add Borders =
Symmetrical 4
COLOUR = WHITE
With your MAGIC WAND
Tolerance = 0
select the WHITE border
Flood fill with the Gold Foil pattern
Go to EFFECTS >>> Plugins
>>> Eye Candy 3 >>>
Drop Shadow
Use the same settings
Click OK
Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects
>>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = -
(minus) 1
Opacity = 100
Blur = 1.2
Go to EFFECTS >>> Sharpen
>>> Sharpen
DESELECT
Go to LAYERS >>> New Raster
Layer
Right click on the title bar of the
"Bird In Orchids" tube
and select COPY from the options.
Right click on the title bar of the
'frame' image and select
PASTE AS NEW SELECTION from the options
Go to IMAGE >>> Resize = 85%
Make sure "Resize All Layers"
is UNCHECKED
Go to EFFECTS >>> Plugins
>>> Eye Candy 3 >>>
Drop Shadow
Use the same settings
Click OK
DESELECT
Go to LAYERS >>> Merge
>>> Merge All (Flatten)
Resize to suit
Go to EFFECTS >>> Sharpen
>>> Sharpen
Save as a .jpg file
