You will need the following to complete this tutorial

Eye Candy 3
download
Download and extract to your PSP Plugins Folder


'GoldFoil' pattern
download
Download and extract to your PSP Patterns folder.

'July42' Gradient
download
Download and extract to your PSP Gradients folder.

'Frax Frame_qc' MASK
and
"jd-mask 143"
download
Download and extract to your PSP Masks folder.


Right click and save this image to a folder on your computer.

Open up the EAGLE image in your PSP workspace
then minimize

Go to your COLOUR PALETTE
Load the "July42" Gradient in your foreground Styles Box
Angle = 320
Repeats = 0


Open up a new image 450 x 450
Transparent Background

Go to LAYERS >>> New Raster Layer
Flood Fill with the "July42" gradient

Go to LAYERS >>> Load/Save Mask >>> Load from disk
and locate the 'Frax Frame_qc' mask
Click LOAD






Go to LAYERS >>> Delete


Click YES






Go to EFFECTS >>> Edge Effects >>> Enhance More

With your MAGIC WAND
Mode = Replace
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 0
Antialias = UNchecked
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED

Select the transparent centre of your image
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Invert

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Right Click on RASTER 1
Select NEW RASTER LAYER from the options
Flood fill with WHITE

Go to EFFECTS >>> Plugins >>> Eye Candy 3 >>> Drop Shadow



Click OK

DESELECT

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Right Click on GROUP - RASTER 2
Select >>> Merge >>> Merge Group
from the options.

Right Click on GROUP -RASTER 2
Select NEW RASTER LAYER from the options


Load the 'Gold Foil' PATTERN into your Foreground Box
on your MATERIALS PALETTE
Scale = 100
Angle = 0


Flood fill with the GOLD FOIL Pattern

Go to LAYERS >>> Load/Save Mask >>> Load from disk
and locate the "jd-mask 143" mask
Click LOAD
Use same settings


Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Right Click on GROUP - RASTER 2
Select >>> Merge >>> Merge Group
from the options.

Right click and rename GROUP - RASTER 4






With your MAGIC WAND
Tolerance = 100

Select one of the gold sections
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Modify >>> Select Similar





Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Inner Bevel



Click OK

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0

Click OK

DESELECT




Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Click on GROUP = RASTER 2

With your MAGIC WAND
Tolerance = 0

Select the transparent centre of your image
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Modify >>> Expand 1
Go to EDIT >>> Clear

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Click on RASTER 3
Go to EDIT >>> Clear

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Close GROUP - RASTER 4 and RASTER 1



Go to LAYERS >>> Merge >>> Merge Visible

Go to SELECTIONS >>> Invert

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Inner Bevel



Click OK

Go to ADJUST >>> Sharpness >>> Sharpen


DESELECT

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Open GROUP - RASTER 4

Go to LAYERS >>> Merge >>> Merge Visible

With your MAGIC WAND
Tolerance = 0

Select the transparent centre of your image
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Modify >>> Expand 4

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Open RASTER 1
and
Highlight to activate

Right click on the title bar of the EAGLE image and
Select COPY from the options

Right click om the title bar of the FRAME image and
Select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options


Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Highlight the MERGED LAYER to activate

Go to SELECTIONS >>> Modify >>> Contract 3
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Invert

Go to EFFECTS >>> Plugins >>> Eye Candy 3 >>> Drop Shadow



Click OK

DESELECT


Go to LAYERS >>> Merge >>> MergeAll (Flatten)

Go to IMAGE >>> Add Borders = 4
COLOUR = BLACK


With your MAGIC WAND
Tolerance = 0
Select the border

Flood fill with the Gold Foil Pattern

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK



Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Inner Bevel



Click OK

DESELECT

Resize to suit

Go to EFFECTS >>> Sharpen >>> Sharpen
and you're done *S*
