Download and extract
to your PSP Plugins Folder
'GoldFoil' pattern
download
Download and extract
to your PSP Patterns folder.
'July42' Gradient
download
Download and extract
to your PSP Gradients folder.
'jd-mask121' MASK
download
Download and extract
to your PSP Masks folder.
Right click and save this image to a
folder on your computer.

Go to your COLOUR PALETTE
Load the "July42" Gradient
in your foreground Styles Box
Angle = 320
Repeats = 0
Open up your "Independence"
image in your PSP workspace
Go to WINDOW >>> Duplicate
Close the original Image
Go to LAYERS >>> Promote to
Layer
(If you use your own
image be sure to add a white border
around 40 - 45 pixels)
With your MAGIC WAND
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 0
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED
Select the white border
Go to LAYERS >>> New Raster
Layer
Go to MASKS >>> Load from disk
and locate the 'jd-mask121' mask
Go to MASKS >>> View Mask

Flood Fill with the "July42"
gradient
Go to MASKS >>> Delete
Click YES

DESELECT
Go to
EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects
>>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop
Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - (
minus ) 1
Click OK
Go to your LAYER PALETTE and click on
LAYER 1
GO to LAYERS >>> New Raster
Layer
Go to SELECTIONS >> Invert
Flood fill with WHITE
Go to your LAYER PALETTE and close LAYER
1

Go to LAYERS >>> Merge
>>> Merge Visible
Go to EFFECTS >>> Plugins
>>> Eye Candy3 >>> Drop
Shadow

Click OK
Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects
>>> Inner Bevel

Click OK
DESELECT
Go to your LAYER PALETTE and OPEN LAYER 1
Click on it to activate.
With your MAGIC WAND
Same settings
Click on the white area surrounding your
image
Go to EFFECTS >>> Plugins
>>> Eye Candy3 >>> Drop
Shadow
Use the same settings
DESELECT
Go to LAYERS >>> Merge
>>> Merge All (Flatten)

GOLD BORDER
Go to your COLOUR PALETTE
Load the "Gold Foil" Pattern
in your foreground Styles Box
Scale = 100
Angle = 0
Load SOLID BLACK in your background
Styles Box
Go to IMAGE >>> Add Borders = 3
With your MAGIC WAND
Same settings
Select the BLACK Border
Flood fill with the Gold pattern
Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects
>>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = - (
minus ) 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop
Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to 1
Click OK
DESELECT

BLUE BORDER
Load SOLID BLUE ( #000080 )in your
background Styles Box
Go to IMAGE >>> Add Borders = 3
With your MAGIC WAND
Same settings
Select the BLUE Border
Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects
>>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop
Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - (
minus ) 1
Click OK
DESELECT

WHITE BORDER
Load SOLID
WHITE in your background Styles Box
Go to IMAGE >>> Add Borders = 3
With your MAGIC WAND
Same settings
Select the WHITE Border
Go to
EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects
>>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = - (
minus ) 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop
Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to 1
Click OK
DESELECT

RED BORDER
Load SOLID
RED in your background Styles Box
Go to IMAGE >>> Add Borders = 3
With your MAGIC WAND
Same settings
Select the RED Border
Go to
EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects
>>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop
Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - (
minus ) 1
Click OK
DESELECT

REPEAT Instructions for WHITE Border
REPEAT Instructions for BLUE Border
REPEAT Instructions for GOLD Border
Resize to suit
Go to EFFECTS >>> Sharpen
>>> Sharpen
and
Save as .jpg image
