You will need the following to complete this tutorial.


'mqc Calico' and 'mqc Ocean' Gradients
download
Download and extract to your PSP Gradients folder.


You will also need the "Corner" tube
which you can download HERE
Extract to a folder on your computer


TEXTURISER Plugin

The EYE CANDY 3 plugin
download
Download and extract to your PSP Plugins Folder

Click on the image below to be taken to the larger working image
then right click and save to a folder on your computer

Open up the "Elephant" image in your PSP workspace
Go to WINDOW >>> Duplicate

Close the original Image


Go to EFFECTS >>> Plugins >>> Texture >>> Texturizer



Click OK

Double click on your SELECTION Tool
and enter the following settings



Click OK

Go to SELECTIONS >>> Invert

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Inner Bevel




Click OK

Go to EFFECTS >>> Edge >>> Enhance More

Go to LAYERS >>> Promote to Layer

Go to LAYERS >>> Duplicate

Hit your DELETE Key

DESELECT

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Inner Bevel
Use the same settings

Go to EDIT >>> Repeat Inner Bevel

With your MAGIC WAND
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 0
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED

Click on the centre of the image

Go to SELECTIONS >>> Invert


Go to SELECTIONS >>> Modify >>> Contract = 20

Hit your DELETE Key

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Inner Bevel
Use the same settings

Go to EDIT >>> Repeat Inner Bevel



Go to EFFECTS >>> Plugins >>> Eye Candy 3 >>> Drop Shadow
Use these settings



Click OK

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK


Go to SELECTIONS >>> Invert

Go to SELECTIONS >>> Modify >>> Expand = 20

Go to LAYERS >>> New Raster Layer

Go to SELECTIONS >>> Invert

Flood fill with "mqc Calico" gradient

Go to SELECTIONS >>> Invert

Go to SELECTIONS >>> Modify >>> Expand = 5

Go to SELECTIONS >>> Invert
Hit your DELETE Key
DESELECT

With your MAGIC WAND
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 85
Feather = 0
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED
click on the Calico border
You will have to hold down your SHIFT key as you select





Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Inner Bevel
Use the METALLIC preset
Click OK
DESELECT

Go to LAYERS >>> Merge >>> Merge All (Flatten)
