With your MAGIC WAND
Mode = Replace
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 0
Antialias = UNchecked
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED
Select the transparent area surrounding
the centre image.
Go to LAYERS >>> New Raster
Layer
Flood fill the selection with the Gold
Foil pattern
Go to SELECTIONS >>>Invert
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Modify
>>>> Expand 3
Go to SELECTIONS >>>Invert
Hit your DELETE key
DESELECT
With your MAGIC WAND
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 150
Feather = 0
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED
Select the gold border
Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects
>>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop
Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - (
minus ) 1
Click OK
Go to EFFECTS >>> Plugins
>>> Eye Candy3 >>>
Dropshadow
Use these settings
COLOUR = #987246
Click OK
DESELECT
With your MAGIC WAND
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 0
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED
Select the area on the outside of the
gold border
Hold down your SHIFT key and select the
'drop shadowed' area
at the bottom of the gold border.
(Doing this should also automatically
include the 'drop shadowed' area
on the right of the gold border)
Go to LAYERS >>> New Raster
Layer
Flood Fill with WHITE
Go to EFFECTS >>> Texture
Effects >>> Fine Leather
Use the same settings
Click OK
Go to EFFECTS >>> Edge Effects
>>> Enhance
Go to SELECTIONS >>>Invert
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Modify
>>>> Expand 10
Go to SELECTIONS >>>Invert
Hit your DELETE key
DESELECT
With your MAGIC WAND
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 125
Feather = 0
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED
Select the WHITE border
Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects
>>> Inner Bevel
Use these settings
Click OK
DESELECT
With your MAGIC WAND
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 0
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED
Select the transparent area surrounding
your image
Go to LAYERS >>> New Raster
Layer
Flood Fill with the Gold Foil Pattern
DESELECT
Click on your SELECTION TOOL
Click on CUSTOM SETTINGS
Use these settings
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Invert
Hit your DELETE Key
DESELECT
With your MAGIC WAND
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 100
Feather = 0
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED
Select the gold border
Go to EFFECTS >>> Plugins
>>> Eye Candy3 >>>
Dropshadow
Use these settings
COLOUR = #987246
Go to
EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects
>>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = - (
minus ) 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop
Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to 1
Click OK
DESELECT
With your MAGIC WAND
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 0
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED
Select the transparent area
MAKE SURE YOU
INCLUDE THE DROPSHADOWED AREA
AT THE BOTTOM AND RIGHT OF THE GOLD
BORDER
Go to LAYERS >>> New Raster
Layer
Flood Fill the transparent area with
WHITE
Go to EFFECTS >>> Texture
Effects >>> Fine Leather
Use the same settings
Click OK
Go to EFFECTS >>> Edge Effects
>>> Enhance
DESELECT
Click on your SELECTION TOOL
Click on CUSTOM SETTINGS
Use these settings
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Invert
Hit your DELETE Key
DESELECT
With your MAGIC WAND
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 130
Feather = 0
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED
Select the white border
Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects
>>> Inner Bevel
Use the same settings
Click OK
DESELECT
With your MAGIC WAND
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 0
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED
Select the transparent area
Go to LAYERS >>> New Raster
Layer
Flood Fill the transparent area with Gold
Foil
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Invert
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Modify
>>> Expand 3
Go to SELECTIONS >>> Invert
Hit your DELETE key
DESELECT
With your MAGIC WAND
Same settings
Select the Gold Border
Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects
>>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop
Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - (
minus ) 1
Click OK
DESELECT
With your MAGIC WAND
Same settings
Select the transparent area
Go to LAYERS >>> New Raster
Layer
Flood Fill the transparent area with
WHITE
Go to EFFECTS >>> Texture
Effects >>> Fine Leather
Use the same settings
Click OK
Go to EFFECTS >>> Edge
>>> Enhance
Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects
>>> Inner Bevel
Use the same settings
Click OK
DESELECT
Go to
LAYERS >>> Merge >>>
Merge All (Flatten)
Go to IMAGE >>> Add Borders =
Symmetric 2
COLOUR = RED
With your MAGIC WAND
Tolerance = 0
Select the RED border
Flood Fill with the Gold Foil pattern
Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects
>>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = - (
minus ) 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop
Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to 1
Click OK
DESELECT
Go to LAYERS >>> New Raster
Layer
Right click on the Title Bar of the
CORNER Tube
and select COPY from the options
Right click on the title bar of your
framed image
and select PASTE AS NEW SELECTION
from the options
Place it as shown in the image below
Go to ADJUST >>>Brightness &
Contrast >>> Gamma Correction
Click OK
DESELECT
Go to LAYERS >>> Duplicate
Go to IMAGE >>> Mirror
Go to your LAYER PALETTE and
Close the Background Layer
Go to LAYERS >>> Merge
>>> Merge Visible
Go to LAYERS >>> Duplicate
Go to IMAGE >>> Flip
Go to LAYERS >>> Merge
>>> Merge Visible
Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects
>>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = - (
minus ) 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 2.4
Go to your LAYER PALETTE and
OPEN the Background Layer
Go to LAYERS >>> Merge
>>> Merge All (Flatten)
Resize to suit
Go to ADJUST >>> Sharpness
>>> Sharpen
Save as a .jpg image
