STEP 1 Open a new image 800 x 600 Transparent background PSP9: Colour Depth = 16 Million Colors (24bit) PSPX - PSP2020: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL Open up the rainbow_bgd image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options. PSP9 - PSPX3: IMAGE >>> FLIP PSPX4 - PSPX8: Use script available for download at top of page. (Higher versions follow your version's method) PSP9 - PSPX3: IMAGE >>> MIRROR PSPX4 - PSPX8: Use script available for download at top of page. STEP 2 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 95% Check "Lock aspect ratio." Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE With your MAGIC WAND Mode = ADD (Shift) Match Mode = RGB Value Tolerance = 20 Feather = 2 Antialias = UNchecked Sample Merged = UNCHECKED PSP9 - PSP2020: Check CONTIGUOUS PSPX - PSP2020: There is no " Sample Merged" PSP9 - PSP2020: Use all layers = UNChecked PSP9 - PSP2020: ANTIALIAS = Outside Select the 4 corners
STEP 3 EDIT >>> CLEAR DESELECT LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 95% Check "Lock aspect ratio." Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE SAVE YOUR WORK
STEP 4 ACTIVATE Raster 1 With your MAGIC WAND Mode = ADD (Shift) Match Mode = RGB Value Tolerance = 20 Feather = 2 Antialias = UNchecked Sample Merged = UNCHECKED PSP9 - PSP2020: Check CONTIGUOUS PSPX - PSP2020: There is no " Sample Merged" PSP9 - PSP2020: Use all layers = UNChecked PSP9 - PSP2020: ANTIALIAS = Outside , Select the purple/pink sections
STEP 5 ADJUST >>> HUE & SATURATION >>> COLORIZE Hue = 0 Saturation = 179 DESELECT
STEP 6 ACTIVATE Copy of Raster 1 With your MAGIC WAND Same settings Select the purple/pink sections ,
STEP 7 ADJUST >>> HUE & SATURATION >>> COLORIZE Hue = 95 Saturation = 179 DESELECT SAVE YOUR WORK
STEP 8 ACTIVATE Copy (2) of Raster 1 EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 6 Colour = Black Opacity = 70 Blur = 15.00 ACTIVATE Copy of Raster 1 EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 6 ACTIVATE Copy (2) of Raster 1 EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE
STEP 9 Open up the entwined image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. With your MAGIC WAND Same settings Select the areas indicated SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND = 3
STEP 10 ACTIVATE the Merged layer EDIT >>> CLEAR DESELECT ACTIVATE Raster 1 EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 6 Colour = Black Opacity = 70 Blur = 15.00 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 6 LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN SAVE YOUR WORK ,
STEP 11 Open up the 6 colourful decos image in your PSP workspace Choose your SELECTION TOOL Selection Type = Rectangle Mode = Replace Feather = 0 Antialias = UNChecked Select the top left deco Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = - ( minus ) 335 Vertical Offset = 240 Edge Mode = Transparent
STEP 12 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> SIMPLE >>> TOP LEFT MIRROR LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN ,
STEP 13 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL Flood fill with BLACK SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 3 EDIT >>> CLEAR DESELECT LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN , Save as .pspimage image
STEP 14 Open up the Horizon-Phil Koch image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN
STEP 15 Open up the knights_8f5 image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 60% Check "Lock aspect ratio." Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = - ( minus ) 16 Vertical Offset = - ( minus ) 50 Edge Mode = Transparent ,
