STEP 1

Open a new image 800 x 600
Transparent background
PSPX - X2: Colour Depth = 8bits/channel
PSPX3-PSP201
9: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel


Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the
CUSTOM SELECTION symbol
and enter these coordinates.


STEP 2


Open up the curtain-bgd
image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options


Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options.


DESELECT.

LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN

Rename this layer
CURTAIN

SAVE YOUR WORK
STEP 4

CLOSE the CURTAIN layer

LAYERS >> NEW RASTER LAYER
LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN
SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL

Open up the stage7
image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options


Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options.


DESELECT.

Rename this layer STAGE
STEP 5

Open up the abstract-enquete
image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options


Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.


IMAGE >>> RESIZE =
50%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE
Check "Lock aspect ratio"


EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET
Horizontal Offset = 0
Vertical Offset = 85
Edge Mode = Transparent

STEP 6

In your LAYER PALETTE change the
BLEND MODE to
SCREEN

LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN

LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN

EDIT >> Repeat Layer Merge Down

Open up the Divider11_AS
image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options


Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

Horizontal Offset = 0
Vertical Offset =

Edge Mode = Transparent

Open up the ivy_verticalfoliagebanners
image in your PSP workspace
Activate layer 3

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options


Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

Horizontal Offset =

Open up the marilyn_jane1
image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options


Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

Rename this layer MJ 1
STEP 11

CLOSE the MJ 1 layer

Open up the marilyn_jane2 image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options


Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.


EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET
Horizontal Offset = 50
Vertical Offset = - ( minus )

Rename this layer MJ 2
STEP 12
CLOSE the MJ 2 layer

Open up the marilyn_jane3 image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options


Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

Rename this layer MJ 3

SAVE YOUR WORK
STEP 13

ACTIVATE the STAGE layer


LAYERS >> NEW RASTER LAYER

Select your TEXT TOOL
with font and settings of your choice add your name


LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN

STEP 14

OPEN & ACTIVATE the CURTAIN layer


Right click on Title Bar and select Copy
from the options

STEP 15

In ANIMATION SHOP

Right click the workspace and select
'Paste As New Animation' from the options.


Select >>> 'Paste After Current' icon on top menu

Effects >> Insert Image Transition.

Select the CURTAINS effect

Click the CUSTOMISE button and enter these settings



CLICK OK

Enter these settings



CLICK OK

Back to PSP.

CLOSE the CURTAIN layer
CLOSE the MJ 3 layer
OPEN & ACTIVATE MJ 1

Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options

In ANIMATION SHOP

Right click the workspace and select
'Paste As New Animation' from the options.

Select >>> 'Paste After Current' icon on top menu



AND AGAIN

Select >>> 'Paste After Current' icon on top menu

STEP 18

Back to PSP.

CLOSE the MJ 1 layer
OPEN & ACTIVATE MJ 2

Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options

In ANIMATION SHOP

Right click inside Frame 1 (F:1) and select 'Paste After Current Frame' from the options.

Right click inside Frame 3 (F:3) and select 'Paste After Current Frame' from the options.

Right click inside Frame 5 (F:5) and select 'Paste After Current Frame' from the options.

STEP 19

Back to PSP.

CLOSE the MJ 2 layer
OPEN & ACTIVATE MJ 3

Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options

In ANIMATION SHOP

Right click inside Frame 2 (F:2) and select 'Paste After Current Frame' from the options.

Right click inside Frame 5 (F:5) and select 'Paste After Current Frame' from the options.

Right click inside Frame 8 (F:8) and select 'Paste After Current Frame' from the options

The 3
frames below should now be duplicated as indicated in frames 4, 5 and 6
and frames 7. 8 and 9

STEP 20

In ANIMATION SHOP

On the DANCERS frames
Edit >> Select All

Activate the CURTAIN frames

Edit >> Select All
Edit >> Copy
Edit >> Propagate Paste


Activate the DANCERS frames
Scroll the arrow on the bottom to first frame (F:1)

ZOOM in on the first frame

Edit >> Paste into selected frame

Keep your hand steady and then click your left mouse button to place.

STEP 21

Right click on Title Bar of frames
Select 'Frame Properties' from the options
Display time = 70

Scroll the arrow on the bottom to last frame (F:9)

Right click inside the last frame (F:
9) to activate

Select 'Frame Properties' from the options
Display time = 140

STEP 22

View >> Animation
and while it is still running,
File >> Save As

Locate the folder in which you wish to save it.

Name your animation.

With the Gif Optimiser keep pressing NEXT
until you get to the last one... click FINISH

Close the Animation
Close the frames.
Close Animation Shop
