.We will be doing this in 2 sections. 1: Creating the main animation. 2: Animating the 'spiral_deco' seperately then including it in the main animation.
STEP 1 Open a new image 800 x 600 Transparent background PSPX - X2: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel PSPX3-PSP2019: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel VIEW >>> RULERS SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL Open up the background-b9af image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options. DESELECT
STEP 2 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol and enter these coordinates.
STEP 3 Open up the floorboards image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options. DESELECT In your LAYER PALETTE change the BLEND MODE to LUMINANCE (L)
STEP 4 With your MAGIC WAND Mode = Replace Match Mode = RGB Value Tolerance = 0 Feather = 0 Anti-alias = UNchecked Sample Merged = UNCHECKED PSP9 - PSP2019: Check CONTIGUOUS PSPX - PSP2019: There is no " Sample Merged" PSP9 - PSP2019: Use all layers = UNChecked Select the area indicated.
STEP 5 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Open up the bgd_element203 image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options. DESELECT LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE Rename this layer BGD SAVE YOUR WORK
STEP 6 Open up the Eiko-Ojala_Adjusted image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 65% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE Check "Lock aspect ratio" ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = 190 Vertical Offset = - ( minus ) 130 Edge Mode = Transparent ADJUST >>> HUE & SATURATION >>> COLORIZE Hue = 195 Saturation = 65
STEP 7 EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 6 Colour = Black Opacity = 80 Blur = 20.00 ,
STEP 8 Open up the chair-df4b image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 70% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE Check "Lock aspect ratio" ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = - ( minus ) 180 Vertical Offset = - ( minus ) 90 Edge Mode = Transparent ADJUST >>> HUE & SATURATION >>> COLORIZE Same settings EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings
STEP 9 Open up the captivated image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 60% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE Check "Lock aspect ratio" ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Same settings EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings
STEP 10 Open up the froston-1 image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 35% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE Check "Lock aspect ratio" ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = 0 Vertical Offset = - ( minus ) 210 Edge Mode = Transparent EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE Rename this layer BGD SAVE YOUR WORK
STEP 11 In your MATERIALS PALETTE Load PURPLE " #6d1c61 " in your foreground Load LIGHT PURPLE " #9253c7 " in your background LAYERS >> NEW RASTER LAYER SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL Flood fill with PURPLE SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 4 EDIT >>> CLEAR Flood fill with LIGHT PURPLE SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 4 EDIT >>> CLEAR Flood fill with PURPLE SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 4 EDIT >>> CLEAR DESELECT EFFECTS >>> EDGE EFFECTS >>> ENHANCE
STEP 12 EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 6 Colour = Black Opacity = 80 Blur = 20.00 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 6 LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN SAVE YOUR WORK ,
STEP 13 Open up the FairyRing1_AS image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = 10 Vertical Offset = 120 Edge Mode = Transparent Rename this layer FAIRY 1
STEP 14 CLOSE FAIRY 1 Open up the FairyRing2_AS image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Same settings Rename this layer FAIRY 2
STEP 15 CLOSE FAIRY 2 Open up the FairyRing3_AS image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = 10 Vertical Offset = 145 Edge Mode = Transparent Rename this layer FAIRY 3 SAVE YOUR WORK
STEP 16 Open up the spiral_deco-19 image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 30% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE Check "Lock aspect ratio" ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN PSP9: IMAGE >>> ROTATE >>> FREE ROTATE = RIGHT 25 Ensure "All layers" is UNCHECKED PSPX - PSP2019: IMAGE >>> FREE ROTATE = RIGHT 25 Ensure "All layers" is UNCHECKED EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = 195 Vertical Offset = 0 Edge Mode = Transparent Rename this layer SPIRAL
STEP 17 ACTIVATE the BGD layer LAYERS >> NEW RASTER LAYER Select your TEXT TOOL with font and settings of your choice add your name LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN SAVE YOUR WORK
STEP 18 CLOSE the following layers... SPIRAL. FAIRY 2 and FAIRY 3 Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 19 In ANIMATION SHOP Right click the workspace and select 'Paste As New Animation' from the options. Back to PSP. Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 20 In ANIMATION SHOP Select >>> 'Paste After Current' icon on top menu Back to PSP. Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 21 In ANIMATION SHOP Select >>> 'Paste After Current' icon on top menu Edit >> Select All Edit >> Copy Right click in frame 3 (F3) and select 'Paste After Current Frame' from the options. Right click in frame 6 (F6) and select 'Paste After Current Frame' from the options Minimize for now
STEP 22 Back to PSP. OPEN & ACTIVATE the SPIRAL layer Right click on Title Bar and select Copy from the options In ANIMATION SHOP Right click the workspace and select 'Paste As New Animation' from the options. ,
STEP 23 EFFECTS >>> Insert Image Effect Select the COMPRESS option Click on the CUSTOMIZE button and enter these options Click OK Insert the settings indicated below. Click OK. .
STEP 24 Edit >> Select All EDIT >> Copy Right click inside the last frame (F:8) to activate Select 'Paste After Current' from the options On TOP Menu ANIMATION >>> Reverse frames ANIMATION >>> Mirror ,
STEP 25 Right click inside the last frame (F:16) to activate Select 'Paste After Current' from the options ANIMATION >>> Mirror Right click inside the last frame (F:24) to activate Select 'Paste After Current' from the options ANIMATION >>> Reverse frames ,
STEP 26 EDIT >>> Select All On TOP Menu ANIMATION >>> Cull Animation ,
STEP 27 ANIMATION >>> Cull Animation ,
STEP 28 ANIMATION >>> Cull Animation,
STEP 29 Edit >> Select All Edit >> Copy Edit >> Propagate Paste Maximize Animation1* , Edit >> Select All Zoom in on Frame 1 (F1) Edit >> Paste into selected frame Position the SPIRAL over the centre of the table and release.
STEP 30 Right click on Title Bar of frames Select 'Frame Properties' from the options Display time = 35 ,
STEP 31 View >> Animation and while it is still running, File >> Save As Locate the folder in which you wish to save it. Name your animation. With the Gif Optimiser keep pressing NEXT until you get to the last one... click FINISH Close the Animation Close the frames. Close Animation Shop
