STEP 1 Open a new image 800 x 600 Transparent background PSP9: Colour Depth = 16 Million Colors (24bit) PSPX - PSP2019: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL Open up the Black_Gold_Abstract image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options. DESELECT.
STEP 2 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE PSP9: IMAGE >>> ROTATE >>> FREE ROTATE = RIGHT 90 Ensure "All layers" is UNCHECKED PSPX - PSP2019: IMAGE >>> FREE ROTATE = RIGHT 90 Ensure "All layers" is UNCHECKED IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 80% Check "Lock aspect ratio." Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN EFFECTS >>> DISTORTION EFFECTS >>> PUNCH Strength = 100%
STEP 3 With your MAGIC WAND Mode = ADD (Shift) Match Mode = RGB Value Tolerance = 23 Feather = 3 Antialias = Checked Sample Merged = UNCHECKED PSP9 - PSP2019: Check CONTIGUOUS PSPX - PSP2019: There is no " Sample Merged" PSP9 - PSP2019: Use all layers = UNChecked PSP9 - PSP2019: ANTIALIAS = Outside Select the areas indicated ,
STEP 4 EDIT >>> CLEAR EDIT >>> Repeat Clear DESELECT SAVE YOUR WORK
STEP 5 Open up the white_shape image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. With your MAGIC WAND Mode = Replace Match Mode = RGB Value Tolerance = 23 Feather = 2 Antialias = Checked Sample Merged = UNCHECKED PSP9 - PSP2019: Check CONTIGUOUS PSPX - PSP2019: There is no " Sample Merged" PSP9 - PSP2019: Use all layers = UNChecked PSP9 - PSP2019: ANTIALIAS = Outside Select the area outside the shape
STEP 6 SELECTIONS >>> INVERT ACTIVATE Copy of Raster 1 EDIT >>> CLEAR ACTIVATE Raster 1 EDIT >>> CLEAR DESELECT DELETE Raster 2 SAVE YOUR WORK
STEP 7 In your MATERIALS PALETTE load GoldenJoy_CC gradient in the foreground using these settings Load BLACK " #201c1b " in your background
STEP 8 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL Flood fill with BLACK SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 2 EDIT >>> CLEAR Flood fill with GRADIENT SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 5 EDIT >>> CLEAR Flood fill with BLACK SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 2 EDIT >>> CLEAR DESELECT ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN MORE
STEP 9 ACTIVATE Copy of Raster 1 EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 7 Colour = Black #000000 Opacity = 55 Blur = 10.00 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 7 Click OK LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE SAVE YOUR WORK
STEP 10 Open up the Blue_Zodiac_Signs image in your PSP workspace Choose your SELECTION TOOL Selection Type = Rectangle Mode = Replace Feather = 0 Antialias = UNChecked Select the TAURUS sign
STEP 11 Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = - ( minus ) 288 Vertical Offset = 135 Edge Mode = Transparent,
STEP 12 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = 570 Vertical Offset = - ( minus ) 280 Edge Mode = Transparent, LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN SAVE YOUR WORK
STEP 13 Open up the Black_Zodiac_Signs image in your PSP workspace Choose your SELECTION TOOL Same settings Select the TAURUS sign
STEP 14 Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. ADJUST >>> COLOUR BALANCE >>> NEGATIVE IMAGE PSPX - PSP2019: IMAGE >>> NEGATIVE IMAGE EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = 285 Vertical Offset = 135 Edge Mode = Transparent
