STEP 1

Open a new image 800 x 600
Transparent background
PSP9: Colour Depth = 16 Million Colors (24bit)
PSPX - PSP201
9: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel


Open up the BG_Elements
image in your PSP workspace

Choose your SELECTION TOOL
Selection Type = Rectangle
Mode = Replace
Feather = 0
Antialias = UNChecked

Select the centre element

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options
(Minimize for now)

Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.


IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 50%
Check "Lock aspect ratio."
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE

ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN

STEP 2

EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> MuRa's Filter Meister >>> Copies >>> Encircle

ACTIVATE Raster 1
SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL

Open up the wallpaper-c6e1
image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image
and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options.


DESELECT

EFFECTS >>> REFLECTION EFFECTS >>> ROTATING MIRROR
Horizontal Offset = 0
Vertical Offset = n/a
Rotation Angle =
0
Edge Mode =
Reflect
STEP 4

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER,
SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL

Open up the wallpaper-7f73
image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image
and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options.


DESELECT

EFFECTS >>> DISTORTION EFFECTS >>> PUNCH

In your LAYER PALETTE change the BLEND MODE to L

Gold3-JF pattern in the foreground using these settings

BLACK in your background

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL

Flood fill with BLACK
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 2
EDIT >>> CLEAR


Flood fill with Gold3-JF Pattern
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT =
5
EDIT >>> CLEAR


Flood fill with BLACK
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 2
EDIT >>> CLEAR

DESELECT

ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN MORE
EDIT >>> Repeat Sharpen More

Save as .pspimage image
STEP 19

Open up the eastern portrait
image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

IMAGE >>> RESIZE =
75%
Check "Lock aspect ratio."
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE

ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN


LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN

Reposition down with your MOVER tool
STEP 20
ACTIVATE the Merged layer

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

Select your TEXT tool
and with a font of your choice add your name

STEP 21

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE ALL (Flatten)

Save as .jpg image
