STEP 1 Open a new image 700 x 600 Transparent background PSPX - X2: Colour Depth = 8bits/channel PSPX3-PSP2018: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel VIEW>>> RULERS SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL Open up the shamrocks-19720 image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options. DESELECT LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE CLOSE Copy of Raster 1 ACTIVATE Raster 1
STEP 2 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> Mirror Rave >>> Quadrant Flip .
STEP 3 ADJUST >>> BLUR >>> GAUSSIAN BLUR Radius = 12
STEP 4 Open up the orange swirl image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. FFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = 0 Vertical Offset = 105 Edge Mode = Transparent IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 85% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE Check "Lock aspect ratio"
STEP 5 Select your RASTER DEFORM tool Mode = SCALE use default settings PSPX-PSP2018:Select your PICK tool Move the centre bottom node down level with the 550 pixel mark on your left ruler
STEP 6 Click the RESET RECTANGLE arrow Select your MOVER tool to disengage the Deformation / Pick tool OPEN & ACTIVATE Copy of Raster 1 IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 85% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE Check "Lock aspect ratio" PSP9 - PSPX3: IMAGE >>> FLIP PSPX4 - PSPX7: Use script available for download at top of page. (Higher versions follow your version's method) In your LAYER PALETTE change the BLEND MODE to LUMINANCE (L)
STEP 7 EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 5 Colour = Black Opacity = 75 Blur = 5.00 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 5 Click OK LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE Rename this layer BGD SAVE YOUR WORK
STEP 8 Open up the St_Patrick's_Day_Banner image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 90% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE Check "Lock aspect ratio" ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = - ( minus ) 250 Vertical Offset = 0 Edge Mode = Transparent ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Open up the Screw image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options, Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW SELECTION from the options. Place at top of banner DESELECT ,
STEP 9 Repeat both drop shadows. LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN SAVE YOUR WORK ,
STEP 10 Open up the pileofgold image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 60% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE Check "Lock aspect ratio" ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = 0 Vertical Offset = - ( minus ) 90 Edge Mode = Transparent Rename this layer gold 3
STEP 11 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE CLOSE gold 3 Choose your FREEHAND SELECTION TOOL Selection Type = Point to Point Mode = Replace Feather = 1 Smoothing = 6 Antialias = Checked Select the area indicated.
STEP 12 EDIT >>> CLEAR DESELECT Rename this layer gold 2 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE CLOSE gold 2 Choose your FREEHAND SELECTION TOOL Same settings Select the area indicated. ,
STEP 13 EDIT >>> CLEAR DESELECT Rename this layer gold 1 SAVE YOUR WORK ,
STEP 14 Open up the leprechaun cleaners RH image in your PSP workspace Activate Layer 1 Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = - ( minus ) 35 Vertical Offset = - ( minus ) 120 Edge Mode = Transparent EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 3 Colour = Black Opacity = 65 Blur = 5.00 Rename this layer cleaners 1
STEP 15 CLOSE cleaners 1 Back to the leprechaun cleaners RH image in your PSP workspace Activate Layer 2 Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. STEP 16 Open up the stpat2 image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 70% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE Check "Lock aspect ratio" ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN Reposition with your MOVER tool Rename this layer mouse
STEP 16B ACTIVATE the BGD layer Open up the Irish_Shamrock image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 25% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE Check "Lock aspect ratio" ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = - ( minus ) 25 Vertical Offset = 135 Edge Mode = Transparent Rename this layer clover
STEP 17 Open up the REDHEAD_LASS image in your PSP workspace Activate Layer 1 Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. STEP 18 CLOSE girl 1 Back to the REDHEAD_LASS image in your PSP workspace Activate Layer 2 Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. STEP 19 CLOSE girl 2 Back to the REDHEAD_LASS image in your PSP workspace Activate Layer 3 Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. STEP 20 Back to the stp frame60 image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 5 Colour = Black Opacity = 65 Blur = 10.00 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 5 Click OK Rename this layer frame
STEP 21 ,ACTIVATE the BGD layer LAYERS >> NEW RASTER LAYER Select your TEXT TOOL with font and settings of your choice add your name LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN SAVE YOUR WORK
STEP 22 Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options,
STEP 23 In ANIMATION SHOP Right click the workspace and select 'Paste As New Animation' from the options. Back to PSP. Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 24 In ANIMATION SHOP Select >>> 'Paste After Current' icon on top menu Back to PSP. Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options,
STEP 25 In ANIMATION SHOP Select >>> 'Paste After Current' icon on top menu Back to PSP. Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options,
STEP 26 In ANIMATION SHOP Select >>> 'Paste After Current' icon on top menu EDIT >> Select All Right click on Title Bar of frames Select 'Frame Properties' from the options Display time = 40 ,
STEP 27 View >> Animation and while it is still running, File >> Save As Locate the folder in which you wish to save it. Name your animation. With the Gif Optimiser keep pressing NEXT until you get to the last one... click FINISH Close the Animation Close the frames. Close Animation Shop ,
