STEP 1

Open a new image 800 x 600
Transparent background
PSP9: Colour Depth = 16 Million Colors (24bit)
PSPX - PSP2018: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel


SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL

Open up the metallic-wallpaper
image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image
and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options.


DESELECT .

STEP 2

VIEW >>> RULERS

Select your RASTER DEFORM tool
Mode = SCALE
use default settings

PSPX - PSP2018:Select your PICK tool


Move the centre top node down level with the 300 pixel mark
on your left ruler
STEP 3

Click the RESET RECTANGLE arrow

Select another tool to disengage the
DEFORMATION / PICK TOOL

LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE

IMAGE >>> FLIP

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN
STEP 4

LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
EDIT >>> Repeat Duplicate Layer

IMAGE >>> RESIZE =
75%
Check "Lock aspect ratio."
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE


SAVE YOUR WORK

STEP 5

PSP9: IMAGE >>> ROTATE >>> FREE ROTATE = RIGHT 90
Ensure "All layers" is UNCHECKED

PSPX - PSP2018:
IMAGE >>> FREE ROTATE = RIGHT 90
Ensure "All layers" is UNCHECKED


VIEW >>> RULERS

Select your RASTER DEFORM tool
Mode = SCALE
use default settings

PSPX - PSP2018:Select your PICK tool


Move the centre top node down level with the 80 pixel mark
on your left ruler.

Move the centre bottom node up level with the 515 pixel mark
on your left ruler.
STEP 6

Move the centre right node level with the 700 pixel mark
on your top ruler.

Move the centre left node level with the 100 pixel mark
on your top ruler.
STEP 7

Click the RESET RECTANGLE arrow

Select another tool to disengage the
DEFORMATION / PICK TOOL

ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN MORE
EDIT >>> Repeat Sharpen More


STEP 8

ACTIVATE Copy of Raster 1

ACTIVATE Raster 1

IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 9
8%
Check "Lock aspect ratio."
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE
STEP 11

ACTIVATE Copy (2) of Raster 1

Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the
CUSTOM SELECTION symbol
and enter these coordinates
STEP 12

EDIT >>> CLEAR

ACTIVATE Copy of Raster 1

EDIT >>> CLEAR

ACTIVATE Raster 1

EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT

ACTIVATE Copy (2) of Raster 1

With your MAGIC WAND
Mode = Replace
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 0
Antialias = UNchecked
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED
PSP9 - X9: Check CONTIGUOUS
PSPX - PSP2018: There is no " Sample Merged"


Select the area outside the frame

SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
STEP 15

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
Flood fill with BLACK

SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 3
EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT


Repeat both Drop Shadows

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN

STEP 16

In your MATERIALS PALETTE load
zilverpatroon pattern in the foreground using these settings


Load BLACK in your background.
STEP 17

ACTIVATE Raster 1

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL
Flood fill with BLACK

SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 3
EDIT >>> CLEAR

Flood fill with PATTERN
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 6
EDIT >>> CLEAR

Flood fill with BLACK
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 3
EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT

Repeat both Drop Shadows
LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE

STEP 18

Open up the snails
image in your PSP workspace

Choose your SELECTION TOOL
Selection Type = Rectangle
Mode = Replace
Feather = 0
Antialias = UNChecked


Select the image on the right

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.


Reposition with your MOVER tool

Choose your SELECTION TOOL.. Same settings

Select the image on the
left

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

Check "Lock aspect ratio."
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE

LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN

STEP 25

Open up the last-exile
image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

IMAGE >>> RESIZE =
40%
Check "Lock aspect ratio."
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE

Reposition with your MOVER tool

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

Select your TEXT tool
and with a font of your choice add your name
