STEP 1 Open a new image 700 x 600 Transparent background PSPX - X2: Colour Depth = 8bits/channel PSPX3-X9: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel Flood fill with WHITE EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> SCULPTURE COLOUR = #c0c0c0 ,
STEP 2 Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol and enter these coordinates. .
STEP 3 EDIT >>> CLEAR ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In your MATERIALS PALETTE load barn-patt pattern in the foreground using these settings
STEP 4 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Flood fill with PATTERN SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 25 EDIT >>> CLEAR DESELECT ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 4 Colour = Black Opacity = 65 Blur =12.00 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 4 Click OK
STEP 5 LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN Open up the Barn_door image in your PSP workspace Choose your SELECTION TOOL Selection Type = Rectangle Mode = Replace Feather = 0 Antialias = UNChecked Select the left door Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options ,
STEP 6 Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = - ( minus ) 245 Vertical Offset = 0 Edge Mode = Transparent Repeat both Drop Shadows. LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN
STEP 7 Back to p the Barn_door image in your PSP workspace Choose your SELECTION TOOL Same settings Select the right door Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = 250 Vertical Offset = 0 Edge Mode = Transparent Repeat both Drop Shadows. LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN
STEP 8 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Flood fill with BROWN #503f1e SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 3 EDIT >>> CLEAR DESELECT LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN Rename this layer foreground SAVE YOUR WORK
STEP 9 Open up the barn bgd image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN
STEP 10 VIEW >>> RULERS Open up the hay bales image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 40% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE Check "Lock aspect ratio" Select your RASTER DEFORM tool Mode = SCALE use default settings PSPX-X9:Select your PICK tool Push the centre top node up to the 150 pixel mark on your left ruler
STEP 11 Click the RESET RECTANGLE arrow Select your MOVER tool to disengage the Deformation / Pick tool EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = 100 Vertical Offset = - ( minus ) 100 Edge Mode = Transparent
STEP 12 Open up the haystacks image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> MIRROR EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = - ( minus ) 110 Vertical Offset = - ( minus ) 115 Edge Mode = Transparent LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN EDIT >> Repeat Layer Merge Down Rename this layer background SAVE YOUR WORK
STEP 13 Open up the ani-horse image in your PSP workspace Activate layer 1 Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = 0 Vertical Offset = - ( minus ) 15 Edge Mode = Transparent Rename this layer horse 1
STEP 14 CLOSE the horse 1 layer Back to the ani-horse image in your PSP workspace Activate layer 2 Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. STEP 18 ACTIVATE the foreground layer Open up the butterfly_5_by_shoofly image in your PSP workspace Choose your SELECTION TOOL Same settings Select the top left butterfly Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. STEP 19 Back to the butterfly_5_by_shoofly image in your PSP workspace Choose your SELECTION TOOL Same settings Select the top centre butterfly Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = 170 Vertical Offset = 75 Edge Mode = Transparent Rename this layer butterfly 2
STEP 20 Back to the butterfly_5_by_shoofly image in your PSP workspace Choose your SELECTION TOOL Same settings Select the top right butterfly Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. STEP 21 Back to the butterfly_5_by_shoofly image in your PSP workspace Choose your SELECTION TOOL Same settings Select the lower left butterfly Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. STEP 22 Back to the butterfly_5_by_shoofly image in your PSP workspace Choose your SELECTION TOOL Same settings Select the lower right butterfly Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = - ( minus ) 290 Vertical Offset = 215 Edge Mode = Transparent Rename this layer butterfly 5 SAVE YOUR WORK
STEP 23 ACTIVATE the foreground layer LAYERS >> NEW RASTER LAYER Select your TEXT TOOL with font and settings of your choice add your name LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN
STEP 24 Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 25 In ANIMATION SHOP Right click the workspace and select 'Paste As New Animation' from the options. Back to PSP. Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 26 In ANIMATION SHOP Select >>> 'Paste After Current' icon on top menu Back to PSP. Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 27 In ANIMATION SHOP Select >>> 'Paste After Current' icon on top menu Back to PSP. Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options,
STEP 28 In ANIMATION SHOP Select >>> 'Paste After Current' icon on top menu Back to PSP. Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 29 In ANIMATION SHOP Select >>> 'Paste After Current' icon on top menu Back to PSP. Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options

STEP 31 In ANIMATION SHOP Select >>> 'Paste After Current' icon on top menu Edit >> Select All Right click on Title Bar of frames Select 'Frame Properties' from the options Display time = 30
STEP 32 View >> Animation and while it is still running, File >> Save As Locate the folder in which you wish to save it. Name your animation. With the Gif Optimiser keep pressing NEXT until you get to the last one... click FINISH Close the Animation Close the frames. Close Animation Shop,
RESIZING ANIMATIONS Click on the Title Bar of the frames Animation >> Resize animation Select width and height in pixels Click OK Save your animation
