STEP 1 In your MATERIALS PALETTE Load the ' badarkelectra ' gradient in your foreground using these settings.
STEP 2 Open a new image 700 x 600 Transparent background PSP9: Colour Depth = 16 Million Colors (24bit) PSPX-X9: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel VIEW >>> RULERS Open up the line element image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. STEP 8 ACTIVATE Raster 1 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 90% Check "Lock aspect ratio." Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE PSP9: IMAGE >>> ROTATE >>> FREE ROTATE = RIGHT 90 Ensure "All layers" is UNCHECKED PSPX - PSPX9: IMAGE >>> FREE ROTATE = RIGHT 90 Ensure "All layers" is UNCHECKED
STEP 9 ACTIVATE Raster 2 With your MAGIC WAND Same settings Select the CENTRE transparent area SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND = 15 ACTIVATE Copy of Raster 1 EDIT >>> CLEAR DESELECT SAVE YOUR WORK
STEP 10 With your MAGIC WAND Same settings and while depressing your SHIFT KEY... Select the areas indicated ,
STEP 11 SELECTIONS >>> INVERT EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Repeat both Drop Shadows DESELECT
STEP 12 ACTIVATE Raster 1 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL Open up the 9250-black-star-vector image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options. DESELECT ADJUST >>> COLOUR BALANCE >>> NEGATIVE IMAGE PSPX - X9: IMAGE >>> NEGATIVE IMAGE ,
STEP 13 ACTIVATE Raster 2 With your MAGIC WAND Same settings Select the CENTRE transparent area SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND = 15 ACTIVATE Raster 3 EDIT >>> CLEAR DESELECT SAVE YOUR WORK
STEP 14 ACTIVATE Raster 1 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> BRING TO TOP SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 25 EDIT >>> CLEAR SELECTIONS >>> INVERT EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Repeat both Drop Shadows DESELECT
STEP 15 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Flood fill with BROWN #60453a SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 3 EDIT >>> CLEAR DESELECT EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1 Colour = Black Opacity = 100 Blur = 0 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1 Click OK SAVE YOUR WORK
STEP 16 Open up the 598-element image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 25% Check "Lock aspect ratio."
