STEP 1 In your MATERIALS PALETTE Load LIGHT PINK' #f2e8e8 ' in your foreground Load DARK PINK ' #bba2a2 ' in your background Select the 'gradient' option on your foreground, locate the 'Foreground-background' gradient and use these settings. STYLE = LINEAR .
STEP 2 Open a new image 700 x 600 Transparent background PSP9: Colour Depth = 16 Million Colors (24bit) PSPX-X9: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel Flood fill with the GRADIENT EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> AAA FRAMES >>> Foto Frame ,
STEP 3 IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 80% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> SIMPLE >>> Diamonds
STEP 4 With your MAGIC WAND Mode = Replace Match Mode = RGB Value Tolerance = 30 Feather = 2 Antialias = Checked Sample Merged = UNCHECKED PSP9 - X9: Check CONTIGUOUS PSPX - X9: There is no " Sample Merged" PSP9 - X9: ANTIALIAS = Outside Select the area shown SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 20

STEP 6 With your MAGIC WAND Mode = Replace Match Mode = RGB Value Tolerance = 0 Feather = 0 Antialias = UNChecked Sample Merged = UNCHECKED PSP9 - X9: Check CONTIGUOUS PSPX - X9: There is no " Sample Merged" Select the centre transparent area SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND = 3 SELECTIONS >>> INVERT EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 8 Colour = Black Opacity = 60 Blur = 10.00 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 8 Click OK DESELECT

STEP 9 Choose your FREEHAND SELECTION TOOL Selection Type = Point to Point Mode = Replace Feather = 0 Smoothing = 5 Antialias = UNChecked Select the area shown
STEP 10 SELECTIONS >>> INVERT Right click on the Title Bar and select CUT from the options DESELECT Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 90% Check "Lock aspect ratio." Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE
STEP 11 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol and enter these coordinates.

STEP 26 Open up the 010-portraits-jenny-marie image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> SEND TO BOTTOM IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 75% Check "Lock aspect ratio." Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN
STEP 27 LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Select your TEXT tool and with a font of your choice add your name.
STEP 28 LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE ALL (Flatten) Save as .jpg image
