STEP 1 Open a new image 700 x 600 Transparent background PSP9: Colour Depth = 16 Million Colors (24bit) PSPX-X9: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel Open up the amethyst element image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. STEP 15 OPEN ALL LAYERS ACTIVATE Copy (3) of Raster 2 With your MAGIC WAND Mode = Replace Match Mode = RGB Value Tolerance = 0 Feather = 0 Antialias = UNchecked Sample Merged = UNCHECKED PSP9 - X9: Check CONTIGUOUS PSPX - X9: There is no " Sample Merged" Select the area indicated

STEP 22 Open up the elaine.png image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. Reposition with your MOVER tool

STEP 24 Back to the elaine.png image in your PSP workspace Choose your FREEHAND SELECTION TOOL Selection Type = Point to Point Mode = Replace Feather = 2 Smoothing = 5 Antialias = Checked Select the area shown Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options
STEP 25 Right click in your PSP workspace and select PASTE AS NEW IMAGE from the options. Reposition with your MOVER tool EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical offset = 5 Horizontal offset = 0 Colour = Black Opacity = 75 Blur = 12.00 Choose your FREEHAND SELECTION TOOL Same settings Select the area shown
STEP 26 EDIT >>> CLEAR DESELECT Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE UP Reposition with your MOVER tool
