STEP 1 Open up the jungle-art.jpg image in your PSP workspace WINDOW >>> DUPLICATE Close the original Image LAYERS >>> Promote background Layer Choose your FREEHAND SELECTION TOOL Selection Type = Point to Point Mode = Replace Feather = 2 Smoothing = 5 Antialias = Checked Select the area shown... close to the edge of the cave opening. Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options. LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options. ACTIVATE Raster 1 SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 4 EDIT >>> CLEAR DESELECT Rename this layer FGD
STEP 2 ACTIVATE Raster 2 LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN Rename this layer BGD .
STEP 3 With the FGD layer active Open up the strange plant image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> MIRROR PSP9 - PSPX8: ADJUST >>> BRIGHTNESS and CONTRAST >>> BRIGHTNESS/CONTRAST Brightness = 30 Contrast = 35 PSPX6 - PSPX8: Linear Mode checked EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = - ( minus ) 165 Vertical Offset = - ( minus ) 115 Edge Mode = Transparent LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN SAVE YOUR WORK
STEP 4 ACTIVATE the BGD layer Open up the 5_Zebras.png image in your PSP workspace WINDOW >>> DUPLICATE Close the original Image IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 85% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN ,
STEP 5 Choose your SELECTION TOOL Selection Type = Rectangle Mode = Replace Feather = 0 Antialias = UNChecked Select the LEFT zebra Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = 105 Vertical Offset = - ( minus ) 60 Edge Mode = Transparent Rename this layer Z1
STEP 6 CLOSE the Z1 layer Back to the duplicated Zebras image in your PSP workspace Choose your SELECTION TOOL Same settings Select the 2nd from the LEFT zebra Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. STEP 7 CLOSE the Z2 layer Back to the duplicated Zebras image in your PSP workspace Choose your SELECTION TOOL Same settings Select the CENTRE zebra Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. STEP 8 CLOSE the Z3 layer Back to the duplicated Zebras image in your PSP workspace Choose your SELECTION TOOL Same settings Select the 2nd from the RIGHT zebra Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. STEP 15 Open up the old-and-wise-young-crazy2 image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. ADJUST >>> COLOUR BALANCE >>> NEGATIVE IMAGE PSPX - X8: IMAGE >>> NEGATIVE IMAGE IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 90% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = 0 Vertical Offset = 255 Edge Mode = Transparent Rename this layer TEXT ,
STEP 16 Open up the YandC_Frame image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. Rename this layer FRAME
STEP 17 ACTIVATE the FGD layer LAYERS >> NEW RASTER LAYER Select your TEXT TOOL with font and settings of your choice add your name LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN SAVE YOUR WORK
STEP 18 Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 19 In ANIMATION SHOP Right click the workspace and select 'Paste As New Animation' from the options. Back to PSP. Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 20 In ANIMATION SHOP Select 'Paste After Current' icon on top menu Back to PSP. Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 21 In ANIMATION SHOP Select >>> 'Paste After Current' icon on top menu Back to PSP. Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 22 In ANIMATION SHOP Select >>> 'Paste After Current' icon on top menu Back to PSP. Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options,
STEP 23 In ANIMATION SHOP Select >>> 'Paste After Current' icon on top menu Edit >> Select All Right click on Title Bar of frames Select 'Frame Properties' from the options Display time = 80
STEP 24 View >> Animation and while it is still running, File >> Save As Locate the folder in which you wish to save it. Name your animation. With the Gif Optimiser keep pressing NEXT until you get to the last one... click FINISH Close the Animation Close the frames. Close Animation Shop
RESIZING ANIMATIONS Click on the Title Bar of the frames Animation >> Resize animation Select width and height in pixels Click OK Save your animation
