STEP 1 Open a new image 700 x 600 Transparent background PSPX - X2: Colour Depth = 8bits/channel PSPX3-X8: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol and enter these coordinates.
STEP 2 Flood fill with LIGHT BLUE #bbeafb DESELECT LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol and enter these coordinates. .
STEP 3 Open up the ice_snow_mountain image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options. DESELECT
STEP 4 ACTIVATE Raster 1 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol and enter these coordinates.
STEP 5 Open up the Clouds 59 image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options. DESELECT LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE
STEP 6 Open up the igloo-cartoon image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 60% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = 0 Vertical Offset = - ( minus ) 125 Edge Mode = Transparent Sharpen if you wish.
STEP 7 Open up the lowres.png image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 25% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = 240 Vertical Offset = - ( minus ) 30 Edge Mode = Transparent
STEP 8 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> PERSPECTIVE SHADOW LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE
STEP 9 Open up the sliding penguins image in your PSP workspace Activate the P 1 layer Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = 255 Vertical Offset = - ( minus ) 130 Edge Mode = Transparent EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> PERSPECTIVE SHADOW Same settings Rename this layer pen1
STEP 10 Back to the sliding penguins image in your PSP workspace Activate the P 2 layer Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = 200 Vertical Offset = - ( minus ) 110 Edge Mode = Transparent Rename this layer pen2 (We'll do the shadows later)
STEP 11 Back to the sliding penguins image in your PSP workspace Activate the P 3 layer Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. STEP 12 Back to the sliding penguins image in your PSP workspace Activate the P 4 layer Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. STEP 16 Open up the water-splash-13 image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 30% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = - ( minus ) 250 Vertical Offset = - ( minus ) 175 Edge Mode = Transparent Rename this layer splash

STEP 18 ACTIVATE the splash layer LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL Flood fill with DARK BLUE #014071 SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 2 EDIT >>> CLEAR Flood fill with LIGHT BLUE #bbeafb SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 5 EDIT >>> CLEAR Flood fill with DARK BLUE #014071 SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 2 EDIT >>> CLEAR SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
STEP 19 EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> CHISEL Colour = #e2c9eb DESELECT
STEP 20 With your MAGIC WAND Mode = Replace Match Mode = RGB Value Tolerance = 0 Feather = 0 Antialias = UNchecked Sample Merged = UNCHECKED PSP9 - X8: Check CONTIGUOUS PSPX - X8: There is no " Sample Merged" Select the CENTRE of your image SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
STEP 21 EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> CHISEL Colour = #bbeafb Same settings DESELECT Rename this layer frame
STEP 22 ACTIVATE the Merged layer LAYERS >> NEW RASTER LAYER Select your TEXT TOOL with font and settings of your choice add your name LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN SAVE YOUR WORK
STEP 23 Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 24 In ANIMATION SHOP Right click the workspace and select 'Paste As New Animation' from the options. Back to PSP. Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 25 In ANIMATION SHOP Select 'Paste After Current' icon on top menu Back to PSP. Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 26 In ANIMATION SHOP Select 'Paste After Current' icon on top menu Back to PSP. Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 27 Continue in this manner until you... In ANIMATION SHOP Paste After Current' icon on top menu for pen7 Back to PSP. CLOSE pen7 and OPEN the splash layer Right click on Title Bar and select Copy from the options In ANIMATION SHOP Paste After Current' icon on top menu You should have 8 frames
STEP 28 Still in ANIMATION SHOP EDIT >> Select All Right click on Title Bar of frames Select 'Frame Properties' from the options Display time = 30 Scroll the arrow on the bottom of the frame to first frame ( F:1) Right click inside the frame Select 'Frame Properties' from the options Display time = 70
STEP 29 View >> Animation and while it is still running, File >> Save As Locate the folder in which you wish to save it. Name your animation. With the Gif Optimiser keep pressing NEXT until you get to the last one... click FINISH Close the Animation Close the frames. Close Animation Shop
