STEP 1 Open a new image 700 x 600 Transparent background PSPX - X2: Colour Depth = 8bits/channel PSPX3-X8: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel
STEP 2 Open up the owls-27778 image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 50% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = 70 Vertical Offset = - ( minus ) 20 Edge Mode = Transparent.
STEP 3 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE CLOSE Raster 2 Choose your FREEHAND SELECTION TOOL Selection Type = Point to Point Mode = Replace Feather = 2 Smoothing = 6 Antialias = Checked ZOOM IN and select the owl head as shown.
STEP 4 In your LAYER PALETTE right click on Copy of Raster 2 and select PROMOTE SELECTION TO LAYER from the options. Rename this layer L1 ACTIVATE Copy of Raster 2 and hit your DELETE key DESELECT
STEP 5 Still on Copy of Raster 2 Choose your FREEHAND SELECTION TOOL Same settings ZOOM IN and select the owl head as shown.
STEP 6 In your LAYER PALETTE right click on Copy of Raster 2 and select PROMOTE SELECTION TO LAYER from the options. Rename this layer R1 ACTIVATE Copy of Raster 2 and hit your DELETE key DESELECT
STEP 7 ACTIVATE the top layer L1 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE Rename this layer L2 ACTIVATE the R1 layer LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE Rename this layer R2 ACTIVATE Copy of Raster 2 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
STEP 8 CLOSE ALL layers EXCEPT Copy (2) of Raster 2 and R1 With R1 Active select your MOVER Tool ZOOM IN and move the owl head over the left body
STEP 9 OPEN & ACTIVATE L1 IMAGE >>> MIRROR With your MOVER Tool ZOOM IN and move the owl head over the right body. LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE Rename this layer Merged 1
STEP 10 CLOSE Merged 1 OPEN Copy of Raster 2, R2 and L2 ACTIVATE L2 IMAGE >>> MIRROR With your MOVER Tool ZOOM IN and move the owl head over the left body. LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE Rename this layer Merged 2 SAVE YOUR WORK
STEP 11 CLOSE Merged 2 OPEN & ACTIVATE Raster 1 Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol and enter these coordinates.
STEP 12 Flood fill with CREAM #eddfd2 DO NOT DESELECT
STEP 13 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Open up the scene30110 image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options. DO NOT DESELECT
STEP 14 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> SEND TO BOTTOM SELECTIONS >>> INVERT Flood fill with GREEN #8f9856 DESELECT
STEP 15 IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 90% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> Andrew's Filters 1 >>> Boxed ,
STEP 16 With your MAGIC WAND Mode = Replace Match Mode = RGB Value Tolerance = 0 Feather = 0 Antialias = UNchecked Sample Merged = UNCHECKED PSP9 - X8: Check CONTIGUOUS PSPX - X8: There is no " Sample Merged" PSPX - X8: Use all layers = UNChecked Select the green border
STEP 17 SELECTIONS >>> INVERT EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 2 Colour = Black Opacity = 85 Blur = 11.00 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 2 Click OK DESELECT
STEP 18 ACTIVATE Raster 1 EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 2 Colour = Black Opacity = 85 Blur = 11.00 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 2 Click OK SAVE YOUR WORK
STEP 19 ACTIVATE Raster 4 With your MAGIC WAND Mode = Replace Match Mode = RGB Value Tolerance = 0 Feather = 0 Antialias = UNchecked Sample Merged = UNCHECKED PSP9 - X8: Check CONTIGUOUS PSPX - X8: There is no " Sample Merged" PSPX - X8: Use all layers = UNChecked Select the OUTER transparent area SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
STEP 20 EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> CHISEL Colour = #d18b09

STEP 24 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Flood fill with #373737 SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 5 EDIT >>> CLEAR DESELECT LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN LAYERS >> NEW RASTER LAYER Select your TEXT TOOL with font and settings of your choice add your name LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN SAVE YOUR WORK
STEP 25 Open up the knowledgeWA image in your PSP workspace Choose your SELECTION TOOL Selection Type = Rectangle Mode = Replace Feather = 0 Antialias = UNChecked Select the text shown
STEP 26 Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 50% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = 170 Vertical Offset = 170 Edge Mode = Transparent
STEP 27 Back to the knowledgeWA image in your PSP workspace DESELECT Choose your SELECTION TOOL Same settings Select the text shown
STEP 28 Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 50% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = - ( minus ) 170 Vertical Offset = - ( minus ) 170 Edge Mode = Transparent LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE
STEP 29 OPEN & ACTIVATE Merged 2 Open up the Owl-Wallpaper image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> MIRROR IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 50% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN ,
STEP 30 EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = - ( minus ) 120 Vertical Offset = 25 Edge Mode = Transparent SAVE YOUR WORK
STEP 31 Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 32 In ANIMATION SHOP Right click the workspace and select 'Paste As New Animation' from the options. Back to PSP. Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown
STEP 33 In ANIMATION SHOP Select 'Paste After Current' icon on top menu Back to PSP. Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown ,
STEP 34 In ANIMATION SHOP Select >>>> 'Paste After Current' icon on top menu Edit >> Select All Right click on Title Bar of frames Select 'Frame Properties' from the options Display time = 60 ,
STEP 35 View >> Animation and while it is still running, File >> Save As Locate the folder in which you wish to save it. Name your animation. With the Gif Optimiser keep pressing NEXT until you get to the last one... click FINISH Close the Animation Close the frames. Close Animation Shop
RESIZING ANIMATIONS Click on the Title Bar of the frames Animation >> Resize animation Select width and height in pixels Click OK Save your animation
