We'll work on the frog image first. . .
STEP 1 Open up the party frog image in your PSP workspace WINDOW >>> DUPLICATE Close the original Image Rename the layer FROG1 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE Choose your SELECTION TOOL Selection Type = Rectangle Mode = Replace Feather = 2 Antialias = Checked Select the area shown.
STEP 2 Right click on the Title Bar and select CUT DESELECT Right click on the Title Bar and select PASTE AS NEW SELECTION from the options. Position the selection a little way down the pink blowout stem. .
STEP 3 DESELECT Rename this layer FROG2 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE CLOSE FROG1 Choose your SELECTION TOOL .. same settings Select the area shown.
STEP 4 Right click on the Title Bar and select CUT DESELECT Right click on the Title Bar and select PASTE AS NEW SELECTION from the options. Position the selection a little way down the pink blowout stem.
STEP 5 DESELECT Rename this layer FROG3 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE CLOSE FROG2 Choose your SELECTION TOOL .. same settings Select the area shown.
STEP 6 Right click on the Title Bar and select CUT DESELECT Right click on the Title Bar and select PASTE AS NEW SELECTION from the options. Position the selection a little way down the pink blowout stem. DESELECT Rename this layer FROG4
STEP 7 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE CLOSE FROG3 Choose your SELECTION TOOL .. same settings Select the area shown.
STEP 8 Right click on the Title Bar and select CUT DESELECT Right click on the Title Bar and select PASTE AS NEW SELECTION from the options. Position the selection a little way down the pink blowout stem. DESELECT Rename this layer FROG5
STEP 9 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE CLOSE FROG4 Choose your SELECTION TOOL .. same settings Select the area shown.
STEP 10 Right click on the Title Bar and select CUT DESELECT Right click on the Title Bar and select PASTE AS NEW SELECTION from the options. Position the selection a little way down the pink blowout stem. DESELECT Rename this layer FROG6 Save as a .pspimage
STEP 11 CLOSE FROG5 layer Still on the FROG6 layer Select the tassle as shown
STEP 12 Right click on the Title Bar and select CUT DESELECT Right click on the Title Bar and select PASTE AS NEW SELECTION from the options. IMAGE >>> MIRROR Reposition as shown and DESELECT
STEP 13 CLOSE FROG6 layer OPEN & ACTIVATE FROG4 layer Select the tassle and repeat STEP 12 ~~~~~~~ CLOSE FROG4 layer OPEN & ACTIVATE FROG2 layer Select the tassle and repeat STEP 12 SAVE YOUR WORK and minimize for now.
STEP 14 Open a new image 700 x 600 Transparent background PSPX - X2: Colour Depth = 8bits/channel PSPX3-X9: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel VIEW >>> RULERS SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL Open up the abstract-bgd03 image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options. DESELECT
STEP 15 IMAGE >>> FLIP LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE IMAGE >>> FLIP Select your RASTER DEFORM tool Mode = SCALE use default settings PSPX-X8:Select your PICK tool Drag the centre top node down to the 300 pixel mark on your left ruler Click the RESET RECTANGLE arrow Select your MOVER tool to disengage the Deformation / Pick tool IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 90% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE EDIT >>> Repeat Resize
STEP 16 EFFECTS >>> DISTORTION EFFECTS >>> POLAR COORDINATES Rectangular to Polar Edge Mode = Transparent IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 90% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE EDIT >>> Repeat Resize
STEP 17 With your MAGIC WAND Mode = Replace Match Mode = RGB Value Tolerance = 30 Feather = 2 Antialias = Checked Sample Merged = UNCHECKED PSP9 - X9: Check CONTIGUOUS PSPX - X9: There is no " Sample Merged" PSPX - X9: Use all layers = UNChecked PSP9 - X9: ANTIALIAS = Outside and while depressing your SHIFT KEY... Select the areas shown.
STEP 18 Depress your DELETE key twice. DESELECT ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN ACTIVATE Raster 1 IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 90% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN
STEP 19 ACTIVATE Copy of Raster 1 EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = 0 Vertical Offset = - ( minus ) 23 Edge Mode = Transparent EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW OR EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 4000 >>> SHADOWLAB Click SETTINGS Tab and Select DROP SHADOW Enter these settings Center Offset Direction = 315 Center Offset Distance (pixels) = 10.00 Overall Opacity % = 60 Overall Blur (pixels) = 10.00 Perspective Blur (pixels) = 0.00 Color = Black CHECK "Draw Only Outside Selection"
STEP 20 EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 135 OR EDIT >>> Repeat Shadowlab.. change DIRECTION to 135 SAVE YOUR WORK
STEP 21 In your MATERIALS PALETTE Load GREEN " #20945a " in your foreground Load BLUE " #21e3e8 " in your background LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Flood fill with GREEN LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> SEND TO BOTTOM CLOSE Copy of Raster 1 CLOSE Raster 1 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER CLOSE Raster 2 SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 5 Flood fill with BLUE SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 5 EDIT >>> CLEAR SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 5 Flood fill with BLUE

STEP 24 Open up the puffball2 image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = - ( minus ) 150 Vertical Offset = - ( minus ) 25 Edge Mode = Transparent LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE IMAGE >>> MIRROR LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN Rename this layer PUFF1
STEP 25 Open up the puffball image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. STEP 26 ACTIVATE the Merged layer Open up the 2017.png image in your PSP workspace Choose your SELECTION TOOL .. Same settings Select the "20" Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = - ( minus ) 235 Vertical Offset = - ( minus ) 225 Edge Mode = Transparent EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 2 Colour = Black Opacity = 100 Blur = 5.00
STEP 27 Back to the 2017.png image in your PSP workspace Choose your SELECTION TOOL .. Same settings Select the "17" Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = 250 Vertical Offset = - ( minus ) 225 Edge Mode = Transparent EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN EDIT >> Repeat Layer Merge Down
STEP 28 OPEN & ACTIVATE Copy of Raster 1 Rename this layer SHAPE Maximize the saved copy of your frog image IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 40% Ensure "Resize all layers" is CHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ENSURE "Resize All Layers" is checked OPEN ALL LAYERS ACTIVATE FROG1 Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = 0 Vertical Offset = - ( minus ) 75 Edge Mode = Transparent EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN Rename this layer FROG1
STEP 29 Back to your frog image ACTIVATE FROG2 Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = 0 Vertical Offset = - ( minus ) 76 Edge Mode = Transparent EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN Rename this layer FROG2
STEP 30 Continue in this manner until layers FROG3 to FROG6 are transferred and layers renamed. STEP 31 ACTIVATE the Merged layer LAYERS >> NEW RASTER LAYER Select your TEXT TOOL with font and settings of your choice add your name LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN
