STEP 1 Open a new image 700 x 600 Transparent background PSP9: Colour Depth = 16 Million Colors (24bit) PSPX-X8: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel Flood fill with BLUE #1d4bbf LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Flood fill with WHITE .
STEP 2 Open up the ripples1 image in your PSP workspace and minimize . LAYERS >>> NEW MASK LAYER >>> FROM IMAGE Source window: ripples1.jpg
STEP 3 LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE GROUP In your LAYER PALETTE change the OPACITY to 60% Change the BLEND MODE to SCREEN .
STEP 4 Open up the waves2 image in your PSP workspace Activate Raster 1 Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = 15 Vertical Offset = - ( minus ) 25 Edge Mode = Transparent In your LAYER PALETTE change the BLEND MODE to SCREEN
STEP 5 Back to the waves2 image in your PSP workspace Activate Raster 2 Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. STEP 6 Open up the LF-Brush-53 image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = 0 Vertical Offset = - ( minus ) 110 Edge Mode = Transparent VIEW >>> RULERS .
STEP 7 Select your RASTER DEFORM tool Mode = SCALE use default settings PSPX-X8:Select your PICK tool Pull the centre top node down to the 360 pixel mark on your left ruler
STEP 8 Click the RESET RECTANGLE arrow Select the MOVER tool to disengage the DEFORMATION tool (PICK tool) ADJUST >>> COLOUR BALANCE >>> NEGATIVE IMAGE PSPX - X8: IMAGE >>> NEGATIVE IMAGE
