STEP 1 Open a new image 700 x 600 Transparent background PSP9: Colour Depth = 16 Million Colors (24bit) PSPX-X8: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL Open up the african_landscape_by_sspace7 image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options. DESELECT .
STEP 2 EFFECTS >>> REFLECTION EFFECTS >>> ROTATING MIRROR Horizontal Offset = 0 Vertical Offset = n/a Rotation Angle = 0 Edge Mode = Reflect EFFECTS >>> DISTORTION EFFECTS >>> PIXELATE
STEP 3 ADJUST >>> AUTOMATIC COLOUR BALANCE . ( If you don't have this option in your version of PSP don't stress... give it a miss as it makes little difference to the end result )
STEP 4 ADJUST >>> BLUR >>> GAUSSIAN BLUR Radius = 15.00 IMAGE >>> FLIP
STEP 5 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol and enter these coordinates.
STEP 6 Flood fill with LIGHT GREEN #98b260 Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol and change the BOTTOM setting to 530 ADJUST >>> BLUR >>> MOTION BLUR DESELECT EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE TEXTURE = esp_hemlock In your LAYER PALETTE change the BLEND MODE to HARD LIGHT
STEP 7 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol and enter these coordinates.
STEP 8 Open up the Colorful-Wave image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options. DESELECT In your LAYER PALETTE change the BLEND MODE to OVERLAY
STEP 9 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
STEP 10 Open up the OOA-Circle.png image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. . EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = 0 Vertical Offset = 50 Edge Mode = Transparent
STEP 11 With your MAGIC WAND Mode = Replace Match Mode = RGB Value Tolerance = 0 Feather = 0 Antialias = UNchecked Sample Merged = UNCHECKED PSP9 - X8: Check CONTIGUOUS PSPX - X8: There is no " Sample Merged" PSPX - X8: Use all layers = UNChecked Select the area outside the circle frame SELECTIONS >>> INVERT SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 15 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN
STEP 12 Open up the african_sunset_by_grishend image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options. DESELECT ACTIVATE Raster 4 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 270
STEP 13 Open up the giraffe18.png image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. . IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 30% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = 130 Vertical Offset = 50 Edge Mode = Transparent
STEP 14 Open up the mou_mybanana image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. . STEP 21 In your LAYER PALETTE change the BLEND MODE to BURN OPEN Raster 1 Still working on Copy of Raster 1 EFFECTS >>> EDGE EFFECTS >>> ENHANCE MORE EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings BUT .. change DIRECTION to 315 EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 135
STEP 22 OPEN & ACTIVATE the Merged layer EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1 Colour = Black Opacity = 100 Blur = 0 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1 Click OK EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 315
STEP 23 Open up the OOA Frame image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 80% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN MORE
STEP 24 With your MAGIC WAND... Same settings Select the centre of your image. SELECTIONS >>> INVERT EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings BUT CHANGE... DISTANCE = 5 BLUR = 5 EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 135 DESELECT
STEP 25 LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE Open up the OutOfAfrica-WA image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = 0 Vertical Offset = 160 Edge Mode = Transparent .
STEP 26 EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> SCULPTURE COLOUR = #c0c0c0

STEP 28 Open up the Meerkat image in your PSP workspace Activate Meercat 1 Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 30% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 29 Back to the Meerkat image in your PSP workspace Activate Meercat 2 Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 30% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 30 LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> PERSPECTIVE SHADOW Same settings
STEP 31 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER SELECT your TEXT tool With a font of your choice add your name LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE ALL (Flatten) Save as .jpg image
