STEP 1 Open a new image 700 x 600 Transparent background PSP9: Colour Depth = 16 Million Colors (24bit) PSPX-X8: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL Open up the wp bgd509 image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options. DESELECT .
STEP 2 Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol and enter these coordinates.
STEP 3 Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options SELECTIONS >>> INVERT Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options. IMAGE >>> FLIP SELECTIONS >>> INVERT DESELECT
STEP 4 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE EFFECTS >>> GEOMETRIC EFFECTS >>> CIRCLE Edge Mode = Transparent IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 95% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
Your image should look like this.
STEP 5 VIEW >>> RULERS Select your RASTER DEFORM tool Mode = SCALE use default settings PSPX - X8:Select your PICK tool Pull the centre left node to the left level with the 50 pixel mark on your top ruler. Pull the centre right node to the right level with the 650 pixel mark on your top ruler.
STEP 6 Click the RESET RECTANGLE arrow Select another tool to disengage the DEFORMATION / PICK TOOL ,
STEP 7 ACTIVATE Raster 1 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> BRING TO TOP PSP9: IMAGE >>> ROTATE >>> FREE ROTATE = RIGHT 90 Ensure "All layers" is UNCHECKED PSPX - PSPX8: IMAGE >>> FREE ROTATE = RIGHT 90 Ensure "All layers" is UNCHECKED Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol and enter these coordinates.
STEP 8 SELECTIONS >>> INVERT EDIT >>> CLEAR SELECTIONS >>> INVERT LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Flood fill with WHITE SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 2 EDIT >>> CLEAR DESELECT LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN Rename this layer Raster 3
STEP 9 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 85% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN SAVE YOUR WORK
STEP 10 ACTIVATE Raster 1 SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 8 SELECTIONS >>> INVERT EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
STEP 11 Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options DESELECT Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 93% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN MORE LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 93% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN MORE LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN
STEP 12 ACTIVATE Copy of Raster 1 LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN
STEP 13 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW OR EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 4000 >>> SHADOWLAB Center Offset Direction = 315 Center Offset Distance = 6.00 Overall Opacity = 55 Overall Blur (Pixels) = 6.00 Perspectivel Blur (Pixels) = 0.00 Color = BLACK Check 'Draw Only Outside Selection'
STEP 14 ACTIVATE Raster 2 EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow. OR EDIT >>> Repeat Shadowlab. ACTIVATE Raster 3 EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow. OR EDIT >>> Repeat Shadowlab. STEP 16 Open up the pink pearl frame image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.
STEP 17 With your MAGIC WAND Mode = Replace Match Mode = RGB Value Tolerance = 0 Feather = 0 Antialias = UNchecked Sample Merged = UNCHECKED PSP9 - X8: Check CONTIGUOUS PSPX - X8: There is no " Sample Merged" Select the centre of your image SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND = 7
STEP 18 ACTIVATE the Merged layer EDIT >>> CLEAR DESELECT ACTIVATE Raster 1 With your MAGIC WAND ...same settings Select the area outside the pearl frame SELECTIONS >>> INVERT SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 3

STEP 22 Open up the pink pearl corner1 image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 55% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = - ( minus ) 202 Vertical Offset = 220 Edge Mode = Transparent

STEP 27 Open up the oleo_6.jpg image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 70% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE
STEP 28 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Select your TEXT tool and with a font of your choice add your name
