STEP 1 Open a new image 700 x 600 Transparent background PSPX - X2: Colour Depth = 8bits/channel PSPX3-X8: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel Flood fill with DARK BLUE #163253 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> Greg's Factory Output Vol2 >>> Pool Shadow ,
STEP 2 Open up the Vintage-Christmas image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 80% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN With your MAGIC WAND Mode = Replace Match Mode = RGB Value Tolerance = 0 Feather = 0 Antialias = UNchecked Sample Merged = UNCHECKED PSP9 - X8: Check CONTIGUOUS PSPX - X8: There is no " Sample Merged" PSPX - X8: Use all layers = UNChecked Select the area outside the centre image
STEP 3 SELECTIONS >>> INVERT EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> CHISEL COLOUR = #9cc2e0
STEP 4 SELECTIONS >>> INVERT EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> Greg's Factory Output Vol2 >>> Pool Shadow Same settings DESELECT
STEP 5 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
STEP 6 EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 135 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE (5 TIMES) So you have 6 layers of the centre image
STEP 7 CLOSE Copy (2) of Raster 2 to Copy (5) of Raster 2 ACTIVATE Copy of Raster 2 Open up the christmas-157 image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 75% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = - (minus) 280 Vertical Offset = - (minus) 120 Edge Mode = Transparent

STEP 13 Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol and enter these coordinates.
STEP 14 EDIT >>> CLEAR DESELECT LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN Rename this layer Santa 1
STEP 15 Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol and enter these coordinates.

STEP 22 Open up the plj.png image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 90% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> COLOUR BALANCE >>> NEGATIVE IMAGE PSPX - X8: IMAGE >>> NEGATIVE IMAGE EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 2 Colour = Black Opacity = 100 Blur = 0 Reposition with your MOVER tool LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN Rename this layer text ,
STEP 23 Open up the SS Frame.png image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. Rename this layer frame , LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> BRING TO TOP
STEP 24 LAYERS >> NEW RASTER LAYER Select your TEXT TOOL with font and settings of your choice add your name LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN
STEP 25 ACTIVATE the Santa 1 layer Open up the icicle_blue.png image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 97% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN MORE Reposition with your MOVER tool Rename this layer lights
STEP 26 Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options In ANIMATION SHOP Right click the workspace and select 'Paste As New Animation' from the options. Effects >> Insert Image Effect >> Rotate Colours Click OK Minimize the animation for now.
STEP 27 Back to PSP. Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 28 In ANIMATION SHOP Right click the workspace and select 'Paste As New Animation' from the options. Back to PSP. Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 29 In ANIMATION SHOP Select 'Paste After Current' on top menu Back to PSP. Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 30 In ANIMATION SHOP Select 'Paste After Current' on top menu Back to PSP. Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 31 In ANIMATION SHOP Select 'Paste After Current' on top menu Back to PSP. Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 32 In ANIMATION SHOP Select 'Paste After Current' on top menu Back to PSP. Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 33 In ANIMATION SHOP Select 'Paste After Current' on top menu EDIT >> Select All ,
STEP 34 Maximize the "lights" animation Edit >> Select All Edit >> Copy Edit >> Propagate Paste Activate the "Santa" animation Zoom in to the first frame Edit >> Paste into selected frame Place the lights at the top of the image and click your mouse to set. ,
STEP 35 Right click on Title Bar of frames Select 'Frame Properties' from the options Display time = 40 ,
STEP 36 View >> Animation and while it is still running, File >> Save As Locate the folder in which you wish to save it. Name your animation. With the Gif Optimiser keep pressing NEXT until you get to the last one... click FINISH Close the Animation Close the frames. Close Animation Shop
