STEP 1 Open a new image 700 x 600 Transparent background PSPX - X2: Colour Depth = 8bits/channel PSPX3-X7: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel Flood fill with WHITE
STEP 2 Open up the wavy-pink image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> FLIP
STEP 3 EFFECTS >>> REFLECTION EFFECTS >>> ROTATING MIRROR Horizontal Offset = 0 Vertical Offset = n/a Rotation angle = 0 Edge Mode =Reflect
STEP 4 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE (Twice) IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 90% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE IMAGE >>> FLIP LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE CLOSE The 3 lower layers (Raster1, Raster 2, Copy of Raster 2) With Copy (3) of Raster 2 active Select your MAGIC WAND Mode = Replace Match Mode = RGB Value Tolerance = 0 Feather = 0 Antialias = UNchecked Sample Merged = UNCHECKED PSP9 - X7: Check CONTIGUOUS PSPX - X7: There is no " Sample Merged" PSPX - X7: Use all layers = UNChecked Select the OUTER transparent area
STEP 5 Flood fill with WHITE SELECTIONS >>> INVERT SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND = 4 SELECTIONS >>> INVERT EDIT >>> CLEAR DESELECT ACTIVATE Copy (2) of Raster 2 EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1 Colour = WHITE Opacity = 60 Blur = 0 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1 Click OK LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE
STEP 6 With your MAGIC WAND ... Same settings Select the OUTER transparent area SELECTIONS >>> INVERT EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
STEP 7 EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 135 DESELECT
STEP 8 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol and enter these coordinates.
STEP 9 Open up the swirls image in your PSP workspace With Raster 1 activated ... Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options. DESELECT
STEP 10 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE IMAGE >>> FLIP IMAGE >>> MIRROR LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 3 Colour = WHITE Opacity = 100 Blur = 0 Rename this layer swirl
STEP 11 CLOSE swirl layer ACTIVATE Merged layer LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 90% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE In your LAYER PALETTE change the BLEND MODE to DIFFERENCE Rename this layer difference
STEP 12 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE In your LAYER PALETTE change the BLEND MODE to DODGE Rename this layer dodge
STEP 13 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE In your LAYER PALETTE change the BLEND MODE to OVERLAY Rename this layer overlay
STEP 14 OPEN & ACTIVATE Raster 2 LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> BRING TO TOP LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE CLOSE ALL layers EXCEPT Raster 2 With Raster 2 OPEN & Active EFFECTS >>> GEOMETRIC EFFECTS >>> CIRCLE Edge Mode = Transparent IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 80% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE
STEP 15 EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
STEP 16 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings BUT change DIRECTION to 315 Rename this layer oval 1
STEP 17 OPEN & ACTIVATE the top layer (Copy of Raster 2) EFFECTS >>> DISTORTION EFFECTS >>> POLAR COORDINATES Rectangular to Polar Edge Mode = Transparent IMAGE >>> RESIZE =55% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE EFFECTS >>> ARTISTIC EFFECTS >>> HALF TONE ,
STEP 18 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN
STEP 19 EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL Same settings EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings Rename this layer oval 2
STEP 20 Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown.
STEP 21 LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE Rename this layer bgd
STEP 22 ACTIVATE the oval 2 layer but keep closed LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Flood fill with PINK #fc8baf SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 3 EDIT >>> CLEAR Flood fill with WHITE SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 4 EDIT >>> CLEAR Flood fill with PINK SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 3 EDIT >>> CLEAR SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
STEP 23 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 135 DESELECT Rename this layer frame
STEP 24 Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown... with the frame layer active
STEP 25 Open up the JHanna_197_ana bagayana image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE =80% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW... Same settings Reposition with your MOVER tool Rename this layer kids
STEP 26 ACTIVATE the bgd layer LAYERS >> NEW RASTER LAYER Select your TEXT TOOL with font and settings of your choice add your name LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN SAVE YOUR WORK
STEP 27 Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown. Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 28 In ANIMATION SHOP Right click the workspace and select 'Paste As New Animation' from the options. Back to PSP. Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 29 In ANIMATION SHOP Select 'Paste After Current' on top menu Back to PSP. Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 30 In ANIMATION SHOP Select 'Paste After Current' on top menu EDIT >> Select All Edit >> Copy Click inside the last frame (F:3) to activate Edit >> Paste After Current Frame Animation >> Reverse frames RIGHT Click inside the fourth frame (F:4) to activate Select CUT from the options to delete this frame ,
STEP 31 Edit >> Select All Right click on Title Bar of frames Select 'Frame Properties' from the options Display time = 50 ,
STEP 32 View >> Animation and while it is still running, File >> Save As Locate the folder in which you wish to save it. Name your animation. With the Gif Optimiser keep pressing NEXT until you get to the last one... click FINISH Close the Animation Close the frames. Close Animation Shop ,
