STEP 1

Open up the NYbackground.jpg image in your PSP workspace
WINDOW >>> DUPLICATE
Close the original Image
LAYERS >>> Promote background Layer

Rename this layer bgd
STEP 2

Open up the New_Year_Couple_LDM image
in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 70%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE

ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN

EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET
Horizontal Offset = 70
Vertical Offset = - (minus) 50
Edge Mode = Transparent

Rename this layer R3
STEP 3

LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE

PSP9:IMAGE >>> ROTATE >>> FREE ROTATE = LEFT 12
Ensure "All layers" is UNCHECKED

PSPX - PSPX8: IMAGE >>> FREE ROTATE = LEFT 12

SAVE YOUR WORK

Open up the WordArt15 image in your PSP workspace
Activate Raster 1

Choose your SELECTION TOOL
Selection Type = Rectangle
Mode = Replace
Feather = 0
Antialias = UNChecked

Select the numbers 1 - 10

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options
STEP 8

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

Horizontal Offset = 0
Vertical Offset = 265
Edge Mode = Transparent

ADJUST >>> COLOUR BALANCE >>> NEGATIVE IMAGE

Colour = Black
Opacity = 100

CLOSE R3, R2, RL1, L2, L3

Still on layer N10

CLOSE N10

Choose your SELECTION TOOL ... Same settings
Select the number 10

EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT

Rename this layer N9
STEP 11

Select the number 9

Continue in this manner until you have eliminated all the numbers
EXCEPT number 1
This layer should be N1

Back to the WordArt15 image in your PSP workspace
Still on Raster 1

Choose your SELECTION TOOL
Same settings

Select "Happy New Year!" text

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

ADJUST >>> COLOUR BALANCE >>> NEGATIVE IMAGE
PSPX - X8: IMAGE >>> NEGATIVE IMAGE

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Same settings

Rename this layer HNY
STEP 15

Back to the WordArt15 image in your PSP workspace
Activate the Merged layer


Choose your FREEHAND SELECTION TOOL
Selection Type = Point to Point
Mode = Replace
Feather = 0
Smoothing = 6
Antialias = UNChecked

Select "LET'S" text
DO NOT DESELECT

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options
STEP 16

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

ADJUST >>> COLOUR BALANCE >>> NEGATIVE IMAGE
PSPX - X8: IMAGE >>> NEGATIVE IMAGE

STEP 17

Back to the WordArt15 image in your PSP workspace
Activate the Merged layer

SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
Select "PARTY" text

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options,

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

ADJUST >>> COLOUR BALANCE >>> NEGATIVE IMAGE
PSPX - X8: IMAGE >>> NEGATIVE IMAGE

EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET
Horizontal Offset = 200
Vertical Offset = - (minus) 190
Edge Mode = Transparent

Rename this layer LETS
STEP 18

ACTIVATE the bgd layer

Open up the Fireworks_by_wicked_sm image
in your PSP workspace

Close the watermark and bg layers
Activate one of the other layers

Right click on the Title Bar and select
COPY MERGED from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET
Horizontal Offset =0
Vertical Offset = 150
Edge Mode = Transparent

Rename this layer Fireworks
STEP 19

ACTIVATE the bgd layer

Open up the NYAframe image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN
STEP 20

LAYERS >> NEW RASTER LAYER

Select your TEXT TOOL
with font and settings of your choice
add your name

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN

Right click on Title Bar and select
Copy merged from the options

Right click the workspace and select
'Paste As New Animation' from the options.

Scroll the arrow on the bottom of the frame to last frame
( F:12)

Right click inside the last frame (F:12) to activate

Right click on Title Bar of frames
Select 'Frame Properties' from the options
Display time = 80

View >> Animation
and while it is still running,
File >> Save As

Locate the folder in which you wish to save it.

Name your animation.

NOTE:
You may want to use "Optimized Octree" instead of "Median Cut"
under "Customize Optimization" settings
as "Median Cut" may leave a lot of noise on the image
depending on the colour of the background.



With the Gif Optimiser keep pressing NEXT
until you get to the last one... click FINISH

Close the Animation
Close the frames.
Close Animation Shop
 
 
 


RESIZING ANIMATIONS

Click on the Title Bar of the frames

Animation >> Resize animation

Select width and height in pixels

Click OK

Save your animation ,
