STEP 1 Open a new image 700 x 600 Transparent background PSPX - X2: Colour Depth = 8bits/channel PSPX3-X6: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel Flood fill with DARK GREEN #154724 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> AAA FRAMES >>> Texture Frame
STEP 2 EFFECTS >>> EDGE EFFECTS >>> ENHANCE Open up the Aussie-XmasFrame image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.
STEP 3 Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol and enter these coordinates.
STEP 4 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Flood fill with LIGHT GREEN #309850 Open up the Sorensen_Designs Mist Al Hogue image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options. IMAGE >>> MIRROR DESELECT
STEP 5 With your MAGIC WAND Mode = Replace Match Mode = RGB Value Tolerance = 0 Feather = 0 Antialias = UNchecked Sample Merged = UNCHECKED PSP9 - X7: Check CONTIGUOUS PSPX - X7: There is no " Sample Merged" PSPX - X7: Use all layers = UNChecked Select the area outside the light green area
STEP 6 Flood fill with WHITE SELECTIONS >>> INVERT SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND = 1 SELECTIONS >>> INVERT EDIT >>> CLEAR DESELECT
STEP 7 Open up the JB_BeachSAnta with drink image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 40% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE SHARPEN if you wish Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 8 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> PERSPECTIVE SHADOW LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE
STEP 9 Open up the aussie-animals5 image in your PSP workspace Activate the possum layer Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. Rename this layer possum
STEP 10 Back to the aussie-animals5 image in your PSP workspace Activate the bilby layer Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. Rename this layer bilby
STEP 11 Back to the aussie-animals5 image in your PSP workspace Activate the roo layer Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. Rename this layer roo
STEP 12 Back to the aussie-animals5 image in your PSP workspace Activate the dingo layer Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. Rename this layer dingo
STEP 13 Back to the aussie-animals5 image in your PSP workspace Activate the koala layer Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. Rename this layer koala
STEP 14 Open up the CGS~3D_2008Christmas44A-mac image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 40% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 15 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
STEP 16 EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 135
STEP 17 Open up the ornamenthook image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 18 LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN ACTIVATE Raster 2 LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN Rename this layer bow Open up the Aussie-XmasWA image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. ADJUST >>> COLOUR BALANCE >>> NEGATIVE IMAGE PSPX - X8: IMAGE >>> NEGATIVE IMAGE EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 2 Colour = Black Opacity = 100 Blur = 0 Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 19 LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> SEND TO BOTTOM LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE UP LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN
STEP 20 ACTIVATE the bow layer Open up the emu image in your PSP workspace Activate Raster 3 Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = - (minus) 235 Vertical Offset = - (minus) 140 Edge Mode = Transparent Rename this layer emu 1
STEP 21 Open up the emu image in your PSP workspace Activate Raster 2 Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Same settings Rename this layer emu 2
STEP 22 Open up the emu image in your PSP workspace Activate Raster 1 Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Same settings Rename this layer emu 3 SAVE YOUR WORK
STEP 23 ACTIVATE the Merged layer LAYERS >> NEW RASTER LAYER Select your TEXT TOOL with font and settings of your choice add your name LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN
STEP 24 Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 25 In ANIMATION SHOP Right click the workspace and select 'Paste As New Animation' from the options. Back to PSP. Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 26 In ANIMATION SHOP Select 'Paste After Current' on top menu Back to PSP. Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 27 In ANIMATION SHOP Select 'Paste After Current' on top menu Back to PSP. Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 28 In ANIMATION SHOP Select 'Paste After Current' on top menu Back to PSP. Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 29 In ANIMATION SHOP Select 'Paste After Current' on top menu Edit >> Select All Right click on Title Bar of frames Select 'Frame Properties' from the options Display time = 50 ,
STEP 30 View >> Animation and while it is still running, File >> Save As Locate the folder in which you wish to save it. Name your animation. With the Gif Optimiser keep pressing NEXT until you get to the last one... click FINISH Close the Animation Close the frames. Close Animation Shop
RESIZING ANIMATIONS Click on the Title Bar of the frames Animation >> Resize animation Select width and height in pixels Click OK Save your animation
