STEP 1

Open up the clouds.jpg image in your PSP workspace
WINDOW >>> DUPLICATE
Close the original Image
LAYERS >>> Promote background Layer

STEP 2

Open up the forestscene image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

IMAGE >>> RESIZE =
60%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE

STEP 3

Select your RASTER DEFORM tool
Mode = SCALE
use default settings

PSPX-X7:Select your PICK tool


Drag the centre top node UP to the top edge of your tag
and
drag the lower centre node DOWN
to the bottom edge of your tag
STEP 4

Click the RESET RECTANGLE arrow

Select your MOVER tool to disengage
the Deformation / Pick tool

STEP 5

Choose your FREEHAND SELECTION TOOL
Selection Type = Point to Point
Mode = Replace
Feather = 10
Smoothing = 6
Antialias = Checked

Select the area shown

STEP 6

EDIT >>> CUT

DO NOT DESELECT

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options.


DESELECT

In your LAYER PALETTE change the
BLEND MODE to LUMINANCE (L)

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE
STEP 7

Open up the
sharing.png image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

IMAGE >>> RESIZE =
70%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE

ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN

Reposition with your MOVER tool



Rename this layer trio 1
STEP 8

LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE

Choose your FREEHAND SELECTION TOOL
Selection Type = Point to Point
Mode = Replace
Feather = 1
Smoothing = 6
Antialias = Checked

Select the area shown
STEP 9

SELECTIONS >>> Promote Selection to layer

ACTIVATE
Copy of trio 1

EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT


CLOSE trio 1

ACTIVATE the Promoted Selection

Select your RASTER DEFORM tool
Mode = SCALE
use default settings

PSPX-X7:Select your PICK tool

Tilt the Rotation Arm up a little and move 'leg'
out to the right.
STEP 10

Click the RESET RECTANGLE arrow

Select your MOVER tool to disengage
the Deformation / Pick tool


Adjust if necessary with your MOVER tool.

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN

Rename this layer trio 2
STEP 11

LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE

Choose your FREEHAND SELECTION TOOL
Same settings

Select the cat's tail

SELECTIONS >>> Promote Selection to layer
STEP 12

ACTIVATE Copy of trio 2
Hit your DELETE key
DESELECT


CLOSE
trio 2

ACTIVATE
the
Promoted Selection

Select your RASTER DEFORM tool
Mode = SCALE
use default settings

PSPX-X7:Select your PICK tool

Tilt the Rotation Arm
down a little and move 'tail'
to the left
STEP 13

Click the RESET RECTANGLE arrow

Select your MOVER tool to disengage
the Deformation / Pick tool


Adjust if necessary with your MOVER tool.

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN

Rename this layer trio 3
STEP 14

LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE

Choose your FREEHAND SELECTION TOOL
Same settings

Select the boys' head

SELECTIONS >>> Promote Selection to layer
STEP 15

ACTIVATE Copy of trio 3
Hit your DELETE key
DESELECT


CLOSE

ACTIVATE
the
Promoted Selection

Select your RASTER DEFORM tool
Mode = SCALE
use default settings

PSPX-X7:Select your PICK tool

Tilt the Rotation Arm
down a little and
tilt
the boys' head to the
right.
STEP 16

Click the RESET RECTANGLE arrow

Select your MOVER tool to disengage
the Deformation / Pick tool


Adjust if necessary with your MOVER tool.

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN

Rename this layer trio 4

CLOSE trio 4 layer
ACTIVATE the Merged layer

Open up the trout.png image in your PSP workspace

Choose your SELECTION TOOL
Selection Type = Rectangle
Mode = Replace
Feather = 0
Antialias = UNChecked


Select the top left trout.

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

Back to the trout.png image in your PSP workspace

Choose your SELECTION TOOL
Same settings

Select the top
right trout.

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image

Back to the trout.png image in your PSP workspace

Choose your SELECTION TOOL
Same settings

Select the
centre trout.

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE

ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN

Back to the trout.png image in your PSP workspace

lower left trout.

Choose your SELECTION TOOL
Same settings

Select the lower
right trout.

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE

ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN

CLOSE ALL the trout layers
ACTIVATE the Merged layer

Open up the water-splash-13 image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

IMAGE >>> RESIZE =
45%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE

ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN

EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET
Horizontal Offset = 185
Vertical Offset = -
(Minus) 215
Edge Mode = Transparent

ACTIVATE the trio 4 layer

Open up the 3sC-Frame image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

Rename this layer frame


EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>>
DROP SHADOW
STEP 24

EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow..
change DIRECTION to 135

LAYERS >> NEW RASTER LAYER

Select your TEXT TOOL
with font and settings of your choice
add your name

Rename this layer name

SAVE YOUR WORK
STEP 25

Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown


Right click on Title Bar and select
Copy merged from the options

STEP 26

In ANIMATION SHOP

Right click the workspace and select
'Paste As New Animation' from the options.

Back to PSP.

Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown

Copy merged from the options

Right click on Title Bar of frames
Select 'Frame Properties' from the options
Display time = 40

Right click inside the first frame (F:1) to activate

Select 'Frame Properties' from the options
Display time = 80

STEP 33

View >> Animation
and while it is still running,
File >> Save As

Locate the folder in which you wish to save it.

Name your animation.

With the Gif Optimiser keep pressing NEXT
until you get to the last one... click FINISH

Close the Animation
Close the frames.
Close Animation Shop
 
 
RESIZING ANIMATIONS

Click on the Title Bar of the frames

Animation >> Resize animation

Select width and height in pixels

Click OK

Save your animation
