STEP 1 Open a new image 700 x 600 Transparent background PSP9: Colour Depth = 16 Million Colors (24bit) PSPX-X7: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL Open up the colorful-circles(1).jpg image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options. DESELECT VIEW >>> RULERS.
STEP 2 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE IMAGE >>> FLIP IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 85% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE
STEP 3 Open up the Deco29.png image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. In your LAYER PALETTE change the BLEND MODE to DARKEN LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE In your LAYER PALETTE change the BLEND MODE to DIFFERENCE
STEP 4 With your MAGIC WAND Mode = Replace Match Mode = RGB Value Tolerance = 0 Feather = 0 Antialias = UNchecked Sample Merged = UNCHECKED PSP9 - X7: Check CONTIGUOUS PSPX - X7: There is no " Sample Merged" PSPX - X7: Use all layers = UNChecked Select the area surrounding the Deco29 SELECTIONS >>> INVERT.
STEP 5 SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 3 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Flood fill with ORANGE #ee7813 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> GREG'S FACTORY OUTPUT VOL2 >>> SPOTLIGHT DESELECT LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN Edit >>> Repeat Move Layer Down CLOSE Raster 1 and Copy of Raster 1 LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE In your LAYER PALETTE change the BLEND MODE to OVERLAY
STEP 6 OPEN Raster 1 and Copy of Raster 1
STEP 7 Open up the earth45.png image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 55% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = - (minus) 7 Vertical Offset = - (minus) 125 Edge Mode = Transparent ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN
STEP 8 Open up the moon-surface.png image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 90% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = 0 Vertical Offset = - (minus) 185 Edge Mode = Transparent
STEP 9 Open up the ship46.png image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 80% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE PSP9: IMAGE >>> ROTATE >>> FREE ROTATE = LEFT 25 Ensure "All layers" is UNCHECKED PSPX - PSPX7: IMAGE >>> FREE ROTATE = LEFT 25 Ensure "All layers" is UNCHECKED ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 10 Open up the Spaceship 02.png image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 50% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN MORE ADJUST >>> BRIGHTNESS and CONTRAST >>> BRIGHTNESS/CONTRAST Brightness = 55 Contrast = 30 PSPX6/X7: Linear Mode checked Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 11 Open up the Ara0114_deLartigue.png image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 35% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 12 Open up the glass40.png image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.
STEP 13 ACTIVATE Copy of Raster 1 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
STEP 14 EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 270 LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE
STEP 15 Open up the masque47.png image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 96% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE
STEP 16 EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1 Colour = WHITE Opacity = 100 Blur = 0 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1 Click OK
STEP 17 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Flood fill with BLUE #001676 SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 3 EDIT >>> CLEAR Flood fill with PURPLE #6025f4 SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 4 EDIT >>> CLEAR Flood fill with BLUE #001676 SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 4 EDIT >>> CLEAR DESELECT Repeat both Drop Shadows as in Step 16
STEP 18 Open up the cute aliens.png image in your PSP workspace WINDOW >>> DUPLICATE Close the original Image IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 50% Ensure "Resize all layers" is CHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN ,
STEP 19 Choose your FREEHAND SELECTION TOOL Selection Type = Point to Point Mode = Replace Feather = 0 Smoothing = 6 Antialias = UNChecked Select the lower left 'alien' Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 20 With your FREEHAND SELECTION TOOL Same settings Select the lower right 'alien' Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 21 With your FREEHAND SELECTION TOOL Same settings Select the upper left 'alien' Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 22 With your FREEHAND SELECTION TOOL Same settings Select the upper right 'alien' Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 23 LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN Edit >>> Repeat Merge Layer Down Edit >>> Repeat Merge Layer Down EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings BUT change DIRECTION to 315 (CLOSE the duplicated 'aliens' image)
STEP 24 Open up the Wu-Ershan-Space-Suit-1 image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 40% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 25 Open up the Wu-Ershan-Space-Suit-2 image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 40% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 26 LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE Open up the space-wa.png image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 70% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> COLOUR BALANCE >>> NEGATIVE IMAGE PSPX - X7: IMAGE >>> NEGATIVE IMAGE EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1 Colour = Black Opacity = 100 Blur = 0 Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 27 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Select your TEXT tool Using a font of your choice Add your name
STEP 28 LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE ALL (Flatten) Save as .jpg image ,
